I was going figure shopping the other day and rather than waste a trip the other day, I gave my local Target a call to see if they had any gi-joe figures on hand.
I was told that this store wasn't going to carry any for the time being and heard the same story from another Target that I frequent. Now this seems strange, what with the new movie line waves hitting retail and all and after considering how slack their star wars selection has been of late, I started to get a bit upset.
Has anyone heard of dcpi numbers being released for the new retaliation wave?

I put it to you, corporate Target heads, as I know that you frequent this thread often enough, get some real figures in stock or you have lost my business.

I work for Target and from what I understand the DCPI for TVC SW figures are being discontinued so we wont be getting any in for the foreseeable future, GIJoe might be the same way, I'm not a Joe fan so I never bother looking at those.

Between Hasbro and the heads of toy departments that do the ordering for the major brick and mortar stores there is so much disconnect I almost feel the same way I do currently about most politicians.

They are just too far removed to make realistic decisions. How can someone who makes hundred of thousands of dollars a  year understand what we need from our government and how can those folks, along similar lines, ever make sane decisions regarding the toys kids or collectors want. I just try to keep my blinders on as the realism is too depressing for me to face.

Ok, rant over.

I was in a Target yesterday doing the dpci trick on a couple of Joe Ninja Dojo packs and noticed in their paultry selection of a star wars isle that they had lowered the clearance price of the darth maul returns pack yet again to $5.98! You guys know how I roll and being the good intentions dealing guy that I am , I was inspired to help them decide that they needed to restock their star wars isle and liberated every one of the maul packs that they had left to a far better home at my house.

Leave it to Clint to get a ton of three packs for not even half the price you would pay for even one action figure.

Hi Guys,

Get down to your local Target Store NOW. They've reduced TVC down to $2.98 for a single figure and the three packs (droid, snagletooth) down to $7.98 each.

I scored 16 figures for just about $51.

I am hearing reports that Target is not bringing back the SW product until this fall. Kinda sad, but good deals around.

Spook - how much is that Droid pack?  I'm working on some goodies you'll NEED in your Hoth dio that I'd be interested in trading...  8)
