Very nice idea! Now it looks correctly in scale. Thanks for sharing! I am also a fan of the LotR 6" figures from ToyBiz...sad they got shut down...

Reptilian Spaceport Visitor I

Reptilian Spaceport Visitor I

Spaceports across the galaxy play host to billions of sentients of all shapes and sizes every day. Multitudes of travelers including humans, near human species, reptilians, aquatic beings, insectoids and those with body plans that are almost inconceivable arrive and depart constantly. You never know what you will see on any given day.

Note:

This was a project to use up some older fodder. I wanted to create an alien that might have appeared in a sci-fi movie or television show between the 70's-90's and created via practical effects (actor in a rubber mask/animatronic head and wearing a costume) instead of a modern CGI creature.

This figure features a fantastic head cast from Krymsynguardimmoral.

These are two very impressive customs especially the head sculpts look stunning! I never thought I'd see the bodies of Rune Haako and Sio Bibble like that! :D
Thanks for sharing!

Alien Gambler I

Alien Gambler I

Gamblers can be found in casinos and cantinas all across the Galaxy. They range from friendly wanderers to despicable cheats and cutthroats.

Wow, that tongue on the space visitor is so gruesome, I love it! Heck I like all three. Your paint work is so good too  Dan. Off to share in all the right places.

Three really fun customs. The re-purposing of these older bodies is great. I recognize the first two heads from the old, short-lived "Space Precinct" TV show (and toy line), but I don't recognize the last. These characters would fit right into the casino at Canto Bight :)

Thanks! Some older bodies still hold up for background characters. I still have a few older fodder bodies left that I hope to use up eventually.

The Three-Eyed guy's head is indeed "Space Precinct", but the Reptilian, while resembling another "Space Precinct" character is actually from Galoob's short-lived "Star Trek: The Next Generation" line (the "Selay"). The last head is from the "Outer Space Men" line. All 3 heads are casts from Krymmsynguardimmoral.

Sullustan Rebel Trooper
« Reply #266 on: April 06, 2018, 02:01:49 PM »
Sullustan Rebel Trooper

Unlike the Galactic Empire's "humans only" policies, the New Republic (formerly known as the "Rebel Alliance To Restore The Republic") allows all sentients to serve in their military and have equal rights regardless of race, creed, or planet of origin. The only requirement to serve is the desire to live free and to defend the freedoms of others.

The Sullustan Rebel Trooper was inspired by this continuity Polaroid taken during the production of "Return Of The Jedi":
