VC 46 AT-RT driver
« on: March 20, 2011, 04:31:25 PM »
As of yet, I have not seen this wave hit my area so I had to resort to Fee Bay to get this one.

As if the revamped version of the AOTC clone trooper in this wave wasn't enough for us clone lovers, we are now given an all new sculpt of the AT-RT driver, originally released in the ROTS line.

Gone is the removable battle damaged chest armor that made the old release figure look so bulky. The paint apps on this new version are perfect.
We have an all new sculpt from head to toe with all kinds of articulation.

ball jointed new sculpt head
ball jointed shoulders with a slight limit to the out-swing because of the shoulder armor
ball jointed elbows
swivel jointed wrists without the extra wrist articulation like the vc aotc clone has
Ball jointed waist
ball jointed hips
ball jointed knees
ball jointed ankles

He has a newly sculpted DC 15 blaster rifle and a newly sculpted strapped rifle with removable strap
He has a newly sculpted removable helmet of a similar size to the heavy gunnner helmet from the legacy collection
he has a removable backpack

This new figure is awesome and worth the extra charge that the vc figures are priced at.

Wow Clint, your camera rocks.

I aim to get these buttons made up early this coming week. Might even have some time to work on em tomorrow.

It does look nice. I just put up two of the old ROTS ones on ebay. I bet I don't get squat out of em with a figure like this for competition. It looks heaps better than the ROTS version.

Thanks guys! Here are a few more shots.
I noticed that the one color on this figure was almost a dead ringer for the old concrete color I used on my rc custom so I took a shot of em together.

Here is a shot of him next to the rots release of the atrt driver

and here are a couple of shots of his helmet next to the legacy heavy gunner helmet.
