what/when are 25th Anniv fig's?

I have this vague notion that the 25th Anniv line is when Hasbro introduced the concept of ball-jointed heads to Joe figs.  When did this happen?  I'm cruizin' the 'Bay looking for fodder - specifically head donors! - and some folks just have their Joes listed by year.  So - how do I know if a particular fig has a ball-jointed head or not?

2007 was the 25th Anniversery Doc. 2008 some came out but, 2007 mostly.

One of the first ones was major barrage from DTC, cover girl was one of the second ones.  Ever since they they have used the ball jointed heads.
