You have been making some great customs these last few weeks.  It's really cool to see you working on customs so much.

Great looking figures Elias! It would be awesome if you and Eli could have a customizing playdate! Not sure if he's ever done any custom making but I'm sure you guys could create some awesome new figures! When I was your age I collected tons of Star Wars toys, but my favorite things to create customs with were Legos! I developed a very "zen-like" (Jedi-like?) detachment to my creations as they would be dropped or stepped on by parents. I was always modifying and altering them after each incident where they were "broken". Helped me a lot with my art in school and always having a back-up plan when a piece would get damaged. Keep up the good work young Jedi! I foresee a path of creativity in your future!

Dad helped me paint the neck and shoulders on these figures so the paint stayed in the lines.  I painted the lightsaber hilt by myself.

A play date would be fun.  I play with Legos at my mom's house.

Great new figures Elias, on the front page. I agree with you by the way, the female aliens are definitely some of my favorite characters too. Keep on coming up with new ones please!

With the close of Clone Wars Season 3, "Wookiee Hunt" had me wanting to make a Trandoshan custom action figure. I dug around in the fodder box we have at home and I came up with all the parts that I would need to make a cool Trandoshan Jedi. I assembled all the pieces I had and finished the build, but I had a problem. All the pieces of the Trandoshan were in different shades of green and my custom action figure didn't exactly match. I called in a little support from Dad and he gave my Trandoshan one cool paint job that pulled it all together. Working as a team has really paid off lately.

This was a really fun project that Dad and I worked on together. I had a bunch of Rodian heads in our fodder box and had the idea to make a Rodian band and added a human female dancer to round out the mix. I did the kitbashing and Dad used some Apoxie Sculpt, a few fodder pieces and paint to differentiate them and make them stand out as individuals.

Here's is a custom Mandolorian that I made for Eli. It was my first attempt at painting an action figure.
