Uninspiring and Unexciting.  There's not one figure there I'd be interested in at all.  Too bad, really.  I see 6 more peg warmers, which will eventually kill the entire line.

This is like saying, "Lets repack 4 figures and give them 2 semi new sculpts. As long as we print STAR WARS on it, they will buy anything."

I agree nothing inspires me here.

Is that some new ball and socket hips on those two clones though?

I agree there isn't much here; but I'll pick up 1 each of the OT characters for my carded collection.  Of these:

Luke:   Surprised this looks to have so many new parts.  The head sculpt looks new.  It's hard to tell from the picture, but from what I see, it's not an improvement over the Resurgence of the Jedi head sculpt--possibly the contrary.  The lower part of the shirt looks to be soft goods--which will help him sit.  It's possible I buy one for my loose collection.

Han:  I think the 2004 head sculpt looks much better on this figure than this one.  Others have noted the shirt is not properly buttoned up for the medal ceremony.  It's releases like this where it seems apparent Hasbro is going after collectors' dollars.  For a kid who really wants a Solo, which sculpt is used really wouldn't matter; but a collector isn't going to simply buy a re-release of the VOTC figure.   This figure is just different enough to suck some of us in.  Like I noted above, this "different enough" will warrant a purchase for my carded collection; but it won't be in my loose collection.

R5-D4:  Rumor has it, this figure is built with Build-A-Droid parts.  The 2006 version looks a bit better IMO to the BADs.  I don't need a newer, inferior loose version.

Stormtrooper:  Not sure what I think about this one yet.  "New gun" may not be enough to purchase a loose one.  Though I say this assuming this is the recent Sandtrooper sculpt.

Do you think they did Luke with the soft goods so he can sit in a new land speeder than might be coming out next year?

Luke, honestly looks more like short round in the face, easy pass.

Han, Wow that is a lazy repack.  The head looks like Harrison from Air force one and not ANH

R5-D4-will probably get just because I missed the last one.

Stormtrooper-Yeah I probably will just to add one more to the troops.

Clone-Eh, not realy interested, loaded with clones now.

Gree-Wow, get out the pegwarmers to fill the wave.  Last time he was out he hung around for months.

Updates Mon-Fri every week, also reviews and much much more.

Could be.  But unless the Stormtrooper belt is removable, the ability to sit is going to be compromised by the holster anyway--something that hadn't quite dawned on me when I previously posted about him.   I suppose it somewhat depends on what he would be sitting on.  If it's a narrow chair with enough ground clearance for the side holster, I guess it won't be an issue.

U-trooper looks to be removable helmet type with ball-jointed hips.

I've heard some rationale as to why this wave is so lame.  Apparently Hasbro had intended this wave to be TPM inspired.  When the 3D date was announced for TPM, that particular wave was pulled to better coincide with the release date down the road.  With that wave postponed, this filler wave was created.  The new Luke figure was done already and the rest...is what is being delivered.

I pass on most TPM inspired stuff anyway, so in terms of desirable items, ironically this wave probably contains more purchases from me.   :-\
