Landing Platform 1138
« on: August 26, 2010, 05:01:25 PM »
I Picked-Up The BMF and Needed a Place To Park it.
So Here Is What I Came Up With.

Landing Platform 1138.

I Started with a unfinished Table Top From Lowes (24x24x1)

Then Added Two 1 1/2 x 1 forks to a 1x4 Backplate, Then Routed A Trench From One fork to The Other.

Then Drilled Light mounts around the Edge.

I Then Used Plastruct Panels to layout the Top.

Then I Drilled The Light Holes in The Plastruct and Mounted The LED Lights

I Then Mounted The Corner Caution Triangles and was Done.

The Finished Platform:

One question though, what is plastruct panels?

Holy crap that is cool. Man you went all out on this one! Love the design of it and mostly the lights. That really puts it over the top. Very well done, can we get a shot from further back to show the size of this thing?

There's an awesome hobby shop about an hour away from me that I know sells Planstruct materials.

Looks like it's time for a road trip!

Awesome diorama!
I have altered the action figure. Pray I don't alter it further.

Holy crap! talk about the right type of platform to show off your BMF! You have given us enough new cutsom and diorama material for months! This table is just spectacular. Wow, I would love to have one of these! Those lights shining up on the bottom of the falcon look sweet!

This is one of the sweetest shelves I have seen. What a great way to show off your BMF.  I think you need to make something like this for your BAT-AT!
