New Star Wars model kits
« on: January 22, 2009, 05:13:24 PM »
I just seen over at revell.com that they had just released two more SW kits, this month. The Sith Infiltrator and the Republic Gunship. I am juiced to get a gunship model or 3! No word yet on the scale but I would like to imagine they would be 1/72nd.
This would make great fodder for a gunship dio or even possibly an equipment or ATTE carrying gunship.
Here is a link to their Sw catalog...http://www.revell.com/catalog/catalog/starwars.html

I'll have to check them out, depending on scale they offer good parts for kit bashing as well as diorama backrounds.

I was thinking the same thing, Wayne.
I threw a link in that first post.

I have the arc 170 and obi-wan's jedi starfighter.  They look good next to my action fleet collection.  I like the fact that they are in scale with each other, something I hated about action fleet.

depending on the scale of that gunship it might be a good base to start with for the action fleet atte carrier I've been wanting to make...

man I need to finish my old mellinium falcon model I've got sitting around....

btw i think wal-mart still has 2 interceptors marked down to 7.00 I can grab if anyone wants them.

Some of my first Star Wars items in the 90's were model kits that needed assembly, painting and gluing.  I gave all of them to my cousin Roby (AT-AT, Vader's TIE, AT-ST) and I only kept the TIE Fighters. Unforuntatley the only thing i stil lhave is the Death Star base from the TIE Fighter model.
