Another goodie arrived today, Since I found the ROTJ glass ad slick for the Burger King tray, I needed the ESB, so I found one, got it and framed it already.

I love the odd items that give any type of collection depth, I like things that will catch youir eye and say " O YHA  I remember those"  the things that spark the nostalgia are cool.

On that note a few more goodies arrived today

6 ESB Wilton Cake Candles,  these are not the best shapr but were only $1.00 each   and 3 1977 SW Coke Glasses

Another little package showed up today, nothing special but a few more items off my list,
2 more SW puzzles,  I like these,  I like puzzles in general and add Star Wars to it, then it's a no-brainer for me, especially since these were a mear $3.50 each.

Picked up a few goodies from an antique mall the other day

First is a minty sealed SW B-day SW table cloth from 1977, scored for $5.50 the next one is an ESB Burger King Glass with no color loss, that was $10 but it was neat to find some SW goodies amongst the other junk.

Thanks Shawn, I am actually huntig down all of teh displays that are associated with the Glass promo, you know how much I like the odd SW items, I have a pic of all of the associated displays, now the hunt begins, I have the tray slicks and so forth, I really want the hanging display.  The glass tray ad is in this thread, top of this page.

Cool, I have the displays from Taco Bell Episode 1 cups and toys. I have a ton of promo material from that film. I even have a Frito Lay cardboard potatoe chip display rack. I talked a stock guy into giving it to me as he had just crushed the rest in the dumpster. He said they had strict orders to crush them all from Frito Lay. I also have several of the huge KFC window stickers that are like 3' x 3'. Soryy none of this is vintage related but never known anyone who had glass/cup interest

I love that ESB BK glass.  I found one of those a couple years back myself.  Some may call me reckless; but I drink out of the thing.  It's too awesome not to get used.  I also use the ROTJ one with Luke and Vader dueling before the Emperor.

Well I can finally say that I have scored a Vintage find that everyone will be floored by.

While surfing Craig’s List I came across a deal that seemed too good to be true. An Imperial Shuttle and the seller only wanted $25.00 bucks for it. I emailed and asked if all the parts were present and in one piece. The reply was that he thought everything was there but wasn’t sure.

Well I figured that if it had parts missing in one piece I could get everything I needed off ebay and I would love to modify it in any case. Well when I met up with the seller he pulled out this beautiful Imperial Shuttle with all the parts present! I popped the battery cover and almost giggled when I saw the electronics were there… this was a near perfect VINTAGE shuttle. There and the only 2 things wrong was some scratches on the cargo door where it looked like it was put down next to a heater or something and the wings don’t come down automatically when the trigger is pulled on the handle but they can be lowered by hand.

Now I’m at a crossroads because it is in such great shape with no yellowing and all the original parts that I don’t want to do anything to it! Plus it looks so nice sitting on my shelf too.

Very nice, looks to be in fantastic shape. I would leave it as is and just display it.

That commercial was a blast from the past. It took me back to a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. Nice find.
