I thought that comicon this year was ... horrible! I think/hope  c5 will be better but did anyonoe notice how it went from the epi3 wave 2 to wave 5 in the presentation?

I did, and that says to me one thing: All repacks.  I do remember reading somewhere that this year would be a LOT of repacks, very few new figures.  Personally, I didn't see anything that was going to knock my socks off as far as an announcement goes.  Perhaps there will be more at C5 though, so I guess we'll see.

I've been saying that about repacks since they started showing the Vintage collection. About 75% aren't new. Love all the stuff that is new though. That Gamorrean's head is huge. I seen some more pictures of him somewher else. It's cool they gave him a fur loin cloth. I wish they would make a version of the Gamorrean getting force choked.

also about all of what they showed at sdcc were mostly retools, repacks, and repaints the three rs!

i watched the Hasbro presentation live and was involved in the live chat and the response the this presentation was luke warm at best  the word was repacks are killing the collectors market and this showing apart from a few gems was lucklustre at best...not impressed

Yepper, I am thinking they are saving thier bigger bang for CV. Hopefully Pat and I can figure out something exciting. I sure hope we get something good to report down in Orlando!

I too was a bit disappointed in the panel this year. I think the biggest exciters for me were the vintage boxes, but I understand that I am rather rare carded guy so this probably makes not as much sense to other collectors. I like the ROTJ wave they showed, but for the life of me I expected another stellar ESB wave since it is the anniversary. I am also having a hard time understanding that new at-st driver for the Ultimate Hoth Imperial battlepack. Wouldn't that at-st drivers have looked like that at-at drivers or at least have been given the cold weather gear they gave the Saga2 Veers? I do like the Rebel version though.

Still, I think they gave us just a taste to keep us interested with the real show for SW being done at CV.
