Thanks I always loved that tale (but never took it as anything more than a what if anyway) so when that proto of this maul popped up in toyfair I was really up for it.

Honestly I loved the story and it made a lot of sense.

I even made some customs about them a few years back. I made an old obi, with the pilot obi like you suggested infact lol.
