This is really cool! I've always loved his armor! Very creative with that magnet, btw!

I-am-Boba-Fett Customs 6/1/2015 MANDALORIAN WALON VAU P.63
« Reply #934 on: June 02, 2015, 12:24:08 AM »
Here is a custom Mandalorian WALON VAU figure I made awhile back for a customer. It is mentioned somewhere in one of the Republic Commando novels that Walon Vau wore a field backpack not a jetpack. So I cast in resin a backpack similar to the reference picture that I was shown by my customer. The backpack is attached to the figure with strong magnets embedded in the back armor of this figure and in the field backpack also. I cast in resin the hip pouches on this figure too.

That magnet use ought to be standard on all figures. Forget the pegs! Off to share.

These are all awesome. I'm in the middle of finishing up a bunch of custys for my mando army and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing your recipes for camderous ordo, Rook Kast, walon vau and lastly your sith acolyte? Thanks

I-am-Boba-Fett Customs 6/12/2015 MURTOCC YINE Jabba's throne room goon P.63
« Reply #939 on: June 12, 2015, 01:29:19 AM »
Here is a custom MURTOCC YINE figure. This character is seen in Jabba the Hutt's throne room briefly in Return of the Jedi. Features: an all new head sculpt done by me, a custom resin cast head molded from that original sculpt, soft goods outer robe, custom made knife, and custom blaster pistol. All the stripes on his inner robe were handpainted by me too.

I love your work.  They are all so unique, that it's hard to even tell what you used to make these figures.  bravo.

Nice!
SO nice!
Is the face an original sculpt?  At first I thought he looked too infantile but compared to the reference (thanks for that BTW) he's right on the money.  Beautiful use of soft goods too.
More Jabba's palace figures please.
