So how do you feel about the SSC Probe Droid?

Well I haven't put it all together yet, but the detail is incredible. SSC makes some expensive stuff, but daggone you can't fault their detail and quality!

I'm only wondering why did Sideshow Collectibles do the pole holding the Probot black. Then I heard it was part of the licensing agreement with Lucasfilm  ::)  I imagine it happened something like this:

LFL: Ok SSC, you can do the Probe Droid in 1:6 scale
SSC: Yipeeee!
LFL: One more thing... the pole it stands on has to be black
SSC: But.. why? Why not clear?
LFL: Because it has to be black
SSC, Ok we understand you want it black, but what is the reason behind this choice of colors?
LFL: Because it has to be black
SSC: But...
LFL: Black or GTFU!

Yeah, on that note I do agree, but you already know some folks who are gonna just mold that part and then cast it in clear resin. I do think you have nabbed the right culprit though.

There is a friend of mine that will make these in clear acrylic. But still a weird choice of color. Cannot wait for mine though.

Found the Walgreens Boba today! Also picked up Vader and Chewie. Vader isn't too bad, just need to paint his eyes. Chewie is awesome but he is always in Wookie rage mode! Lol

Keep checking! I was going in there every day and saw other older dudes in there scoping out the toy aisle and I was like " man, I'm never gonna get Boba". Then this morning it was all quiet in there and well well look at what we have here!

Great score Tom, time to go make you famous. You drew first blood on that one!

I wonder when my order through their website will come?

No dice on the second walgreens I checked.
Got my SDCC jabba from hts today.
Had to pick it up from FedEx one town over.
"Thanks for that, hasbro"
It sure is pretty though.
" Shawn wouldn't know what to think if I left it in its box"

Received my five 6" STs from Dorksidetoys today. Another flawless transaction. However, Hasbro's lack of QC reared its ugly head again. And I'm not talking about a paint issue here. It's not a missing foot either, but observe closely:

Geesh! I have got to take that to the front page Remco. Now what are you gonna do with it? I would think trying to talk to Hasbro might be worth a try, but their idea would be to send you a replacement which probably wouldn't be another Storm Trooper (maybe a Greedo or a Han or another six inch pegwarmer).

Better off contacting the seller directly. They'll probably replace it or give you a refund. I had a similar issue with a 6'' Bespin Luke hand and BBTS took care of it.
