Is this a new TK set Serg? Wow, if so that makes two right? I would just love to have one! It looks fantastic!

Exactly. A new armor. And right now I have 2 armor suits indeed :) The SDS armor I used to have for 5 years already will be sold to a friend in my country for an excellent price.

The RS armor seen above was from an EU friend who had an extra ABS kit. He needed some money and asked me if I'm interested in him building it for me for the price of the RS Armour & Helmet Kit, which is insanely good considering how much RS asks for their commission which is not as good as this (the Scout they assembled for me had quite a few assembling issues, besides the crack in the chin). So I got full ABS RS Stormie helmet and armor professionally build by a 501st member, all the parts, original strapping system, RS COA and stuff, express airmail shipping with tracking, and even a RS cap. Couldn't pass on a deal like this.  :D

Wow, that is sweet. I keep hoping a deal like that will fall in my lap!

Where I live there are rarely good deals on SW items. So I was glad at least this time a good deal came my way. I had to do a few other minor upgrades on the mannequin display, next to the screen accurate Newey snaps of the bottom armor (lateral) I added some twisties to tighten the grip on the armor and to make it fit closer to the body.

Most mannequins with fingers have smaller hands that they should have, so I again re-upgraded the fingers by making them a tad longer, thus to fit the rubber gloves better. I did this when I had the SDS armor, but now I upgraded the fingers once more.

On the lateral and inside of the shin armor I added a bit of foam to hold the leg armor better, and thus look more natural - mannequin have thinner legs than humans, mine was even better than most mannequins I've seen, and still not perfect.

To fit my mannequin properly I asked my friend who built my RS suit not to glue the armor in the back of the thigh and arm, I only added velcro on the back. Thus is easier to put it on and off the mannequin, because this flexible mannequin I own is quite heavy (but this also means stable and well made). If in the future someone wants to glue those armor parts in the back, there is no problem, you simply remove the velcro and glue them with E6000 :)

Beautiful, sure wish I had something like this to troop in. Gonna make the leap and say next year this time I will have one. Gorgeous though Serg, I am envious.

Thanks Shawn, its a great armor. Having all the bumps and warps the original had makes it exactly how I want it :) The SDS also arrived to my friend.

The SDS armor I sold to my friend arrived to his house and here is its display for now - he will display the helmet separately:

Seems kind of shame not to have it all together, but to each their own!

He wants to do that as soon as he moves to a bigger house, but right now this is the only way to display it in his small apartment. I know what he means, I also moved from a small apartment to my present house a few years ago, and back then I had a ton of collectibles sitting in their original boxes waiting for the big moment.

Star Wars Display in any shape or form is always a good idea imo.

I looked closely at the Scout helmets from the Kotobukiya statue, Sideshow figure and the GG v1. Scout bust. And the cool thing is that the GG Scout is the most accurate by far, they really nailed the sculpt, the same way they did back then with the original Stormtrooper mini-bust which even today has one of the most accurate scaled Stormtrooper helmets. Curious if the new Scout bust with rifle has the same accurate helmet sculpt.

BTW seems the new GG Scout bust with rifle is less accurate than the old one as well, but that is understandable, being inspired by a game.
