The last Bespin Luke's head sculpt looked more like the kid from The Sixth Sense.  Plus, that figure was just way too tall.  This face looks better even if it's not a dead on likeness.  Not sure if the scale has been corrected; but I'm hoping.

it'll be interesting if the rumours of a new $9.99 and £9.99 figure price point are true

These figures look  soooooooooooooooooooo freaking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Though, they are just prototypes, will Luke and Leia have ankle joints? How many figures, per wave?  Man, Toy Fair seems sooooooo far away in a galaxy. "Sigh" :'( Anyone  have a time machine?

That last wave of vintage cardbacks was just just that one wave of what six figures or something like that? Are we sure all legacy will be the vintage style? I am thinking with the way they are packaging legacy vehicles in the Rex style CW (blue style we have seen) that perhaps Legacy will just get these same style cards. I hope I am wrong and we get all vintage cardbacks with Legacy, but I ain't getting my hopes too high. Toyfair is such a long wait this year. Needless to say I am hoping for more than one TESB wave since its the 30th anniversary.

If these are going to the 9.99 dollar mark, then I can see more buyers leaving the hobby, it's getting stupid price wise, I can't see any kid being able to afford a figure a moth, unless they have rich parents.

And I can't see collectors being happy with that price either, there was an uproar last year, this I think will put the nail in the coffin.

Guys, correct me if I am wrong, but weren't the last VTSC figures that price? The vintage figures in the clamshell that you sent in for the George Stormy?

They were, yes. I was under the impression that these would just reside on a classic looking card with no clamshell. We don't need no stinking price hikes!

Read a Q&A answer at Yakface.com today that states these new vintage Collection figures will not be packaged in a clamshell and that the MSRP is to be $7.99

Yeah, I just read that too. $7.99. I would have to say that is the best looking Luke in years. I hope that is not the final version of Leia though. I just hope they change the plastic they are using for the heads because the last couple of years the figures heads have been shiny looking, or plastic looking.

that is no repaint of that figure. That was the worst Luke head ever. Only reason I bought it was for the coin.

This post made me laugh...oh and it's so true.  Terrible Luke head on that Yavin Luke.  Cypress is right droidbait, this Bespin Luke is not utilizing the Yavin Luke sculpt.   :)  I might have actually cried if that were true.   ;)
