Hello there wraithnine here with another review...
This time round its the turn of Mon Calamari Jedi Knight Nahdar Vebb .
this was a mail-away exclusive in the U.S. (you had to send UPC's 5 or 6 + $6.99) and is exclusive to Argos in the U.K. for the princely sum of £7.99 (the same price as a std figure !) i picked up 2 of these this morning ,the suprising thing was that they came in the std white mail-away box imprinted with his name .
Nahdar Vebb appeared in the season 1 episode "The Lair of Grevious" ,along with his former master Kit Fisto(who i still need to get!)
well on to the figure ...
this has got to be one of my favorite jedi figures in the Clone Wars line ....dont know why but i just think he is great!
ARTICULATION:
Nahdar has some strange articulation but at the same time excellent
he has the now std ball jointed head ,he has a ball jointed shoulders that are a ball joint with a hinge arm on it thus giving the effect of not only having ball joint movement plus the ability to raise and lower his shoulders .
He also has ball jointed elbows and his wrist/forearms are ball jointed as well ,a swivel waist ,swivel hips and ball jointed knees but unfortunatley no ankle articulation.
Paint Apps:
Now these i cannot fault ,they are clean ,precise and represent the character well .
he has a single piece lightsaber which has an excellent representation of Nahdars hilt
unfortunatley he does not come with a cape ,but it is only a minor let down.
He also has the 3-D fold out cardback that the mail-away Capt Rex had previously ,the diorama potrays a scene fron "the lair of grevious"and has a cardboard cut out of a MagnaGuard included .
On the whole i'd give this figure and 8.5-9/10 its an excellent figure with only a couple of quibbles i.e. no cape or ball jointed ankles .
if you like the Clone Wars i would definately recommend this figure.
