Don Wan Kihotay
« Reply #15 on: January 07, 2010, 11:06:59 AM »

NAME: Don Wan Kihotay (Real Name: Hess Korin)
HOMEWORLD: Obroa-skai, Aduba-3
SPECIES: Human
GENDER: Male
HAIR COLOR: White
EYE COLOR: Grey

SPECIAL NOTE: Don Wan Kihotay is the perfect example of a quixotic jedi

ERAS: Rise of the Empire era, Rebellion era
AFFILIATION: Star-Hoppers of Aduba-3

BIOGRAPHY:
Hess Korrin was a Force-sensitive librarian who cataloged antiquities on Obroa-skai. He spent much of his time reading histories of the Jedi. With the rise of the New Order, his department was closed down by the Imperial Security Bureau.

Outraged, Korrin took it upon himself to preserve the memory of the Jedi. He was able to rescue a lightsaber from the antiquities department's collection before it was destroyed by the ISB. Delusional, he adopted the identity of Don-Wan Kihotay, as the last of the Jedi Knights.

Knowing that Korrin's behavior would lead to his demise at the hands of the Empire, his Ithorian supervisor took him to Aduba-3. He was killed by the ISB, but Korrin/Kihotay somehow escaped detection.

When Han Solo was recruiting spacers to help him bring down Serji-X Arrogantus, Kihotay volunteered. Kihotay saved Amaiza Foxtrain from a Cloud-hopper, and himself survived a skyspeeder blast due to his armor. The job became much bigger when a local shaman, the Old One, summoned the Behemoth from the World Below to also fight Arrogantus. Kihotay attempted to face the monster one-on-one, but Solo eventually took his lightsaber and was able to use it to defeat the monster.

After the events on Aduba-3, Kihotay went to Telos IV to recover. However, the medical station at which he was staying was destroyed in a mercenary attack led by Beilert Valance, killing him.

Kirtan Loor
« Reply #18 on: January 07, 2010, 11:20:41 AM »
INFO: Kirtan Loor was a former Imperial liaison to CorSec and an Imperial Intelligence agent who played a large role in the events surrounding the capture of Coruscant by the New Republic. In time, Loor would prove to be one of Rogue Squadron's most persistent enemies. Loor resembled a much taller and younger Grand Moff Tarkin, and possessed the ability to fully retain memories. Both of these traits made Loor very arrogant, and made him feel superior above others.

NAME: Kirtan Loor
HOMEWORLD: Churba
SPECIES: Human
GENDER: Male
HAIR COLOR: Black
EYE COLOR: Blue

SPECIAL NOTE: Resembled a younger looking Grand Moff Tarkin, but was over 1.8 Meters Tall

ERAS: Rebellion era, New Republic era
AFFILIATION: Galactic Empire

BIOGRAPHY:
The earliest details of Kirtan Loor show that in 2 ABY he became an Imperial Liaison Officer to CorSec. The officers he was assigned to were none other than Gil Bastra, Iella Wessiri, and Corran Horn. Loor was not interested in the internal affairs of CorSec, and even less in its officers. Loor also took great delight in complicating otherwise simple cases, even to the point of letting Corran's father's killer go free.

After enduring years of abuse under Loor, Gil, Iella, and Corran hatched a plot to escape Loor. After they managed to escape right under his nose, Loor then joined Imperial Intelligence and vowed to track down the three former CorSec officers and have his revenge.

He almost caught up with Corran Horn on the planet of Garqi—Corran Horn was posing as Eamon Yzalli, aide to Prefect Mosh Barris as one of the aliases created by Gil Bastra. Corran was involved in a plot to free a Duros prisoner by the name of Lai Nootka who had some valuable spare parts for Corran's X-Wing. Corran was able to frame Mosh Barris for his "murder" and Loor was sent to investigate. Corran and Loor missed each other by a matter of hours.

Three months after events on Garqi, Loor managed to track down and capture Gil Bastra, though Gil had insisted that he had let Loor catch him on purpose, to keep pursuit off his friends. Loor then attempted to interrogate Gil, but when he put Gil in a bacta tank to cure him of a fatal disease, he failed to realize that Gil had an allergy to bacta. Gil died in the interrogation attempt, leaving Loor back where he started. It was at that time he was recalled to Coruscant by Ysanne Isard.

EMPLOYMENT UNDER ISARD:
After his recall to Coruscant, Loor met Ysanne Isard, Director of Imperial Intelligence. Isard then recruited Loor and ordered him to track down and destroy Rogue Squadron. Reasons for why Loor was chosen are unknown, though it is suspected that Isard knew of his vendetta against Corran Horn, who at the time was a member of Rogue Squadron.

Working with Admiral Devlia, Loor managed to track down Rogue Sqadron to their base on Talasea. Fortunately for Rogue Squadron, Devlia was skeptical and mistrusted Loor's abilities. He only sent a single squad of stormtroopers, who were easily dispatched by Rogue Squadron, but one of the squadron's pilots, Lujayne Forge, was killed in the attack. When the New Republic retaliated and attacked Devlia's headquarters on Vladet, Loor made his escape. He was then ordered to go to Borleias, which was a vital stepping stone for the New Republic to reach Coruscant.

After his arrival, Loor met with General Evir Derricote. Loor warned Derricote about the inevitable New Republic attack, and also spied on Derricote. After Derricote managed to repel the first New Republic assault, Isard ordered Loor to bring Derricote back to Coruscant with him.

EVENTS ON CORUSCANT:
After the capture of Borleias by the New Republic, and the insertion of Rogue Squadron into Coruscant, Loor was again tasked with fighting off the legendary squadron, though this time, he was only supposed to delay them until Isard could unleash her lethal Krytos virus on the planet's nonhuman population and put pressure on the New Republic. To do this, Loor enlisted the help of Zekka Thyne and Erisi Dlarit to spy on Rogue Squadron. Unfortunately for him, tough anti-espionage tactics employed by Wedge Antilles prevented him from stopping the New Republic's premature capture of Coruscant.

As the New Republic closed in, Isard informed Loor that he was to lead the Palpatine Counterinsurgency Front and perform guerrilla and terrorist attacks on the new government. While leading the PCF, Loor found himself working for Fliry Vorru, a former Corellian Moff. Vorru had Loor attack multiple targets, including a bacta storage facility and a school.

Loor was not happy with any of this, and secretly plotted to overthrow Vorru and Isard. When he learned of a convoy that was going to deliver bacta to the New Republic, Loor took the chance. Using twelve X-wings he managed to obtain, Loor intended to steal the bacta for himself and blame the theft on Rogue Squadron. Unfortunately, Isard also knew of the convoy and tipped Warlord Zsinj about it. Zsinj destroyed the entire convoy, including Loor's fake Rogue Squadron.

With his plan in shambles, Loor was sure that Isard would discover his plans for betrayal. He sought sanctuary with the New Republic by offering to testify in Tycho Celchu's trial and divulging information about all Imperial activity on Coruscant. Loor never got the chance to reap the rewards of defection, however. Isard received word of a secret witness attending Tycho's trial. Thinking it was General Derricote, Isard sent Diric Wessiri, a sleeper agent and Iella's husband, to prevent him from testifying. As Loor was on his way to the courthouse, he was assassinated by Diric and died at the scene.

LOOR'S LEGACY:
As it turned out, even though Isard managed to keep him quiet, Loor got the last laugh. Before he died, Loor kept an encoded data card with him as a failsafe to prevent the New Republic from just killing him. When Corran discovered the card, he managed to decode the data. The datacard revealed every Imperial operation, terrorist cell, and safehouse on Coruscant. With Loor's help, the New Republic went a long way into making Coruscant more secure for the future.

Admiral Natasi Daala
« Reply #19 on: January 07, 2010, 11:44:27 AM »
INFO: Natasi Daala was a Human female who became the first woman to reach the rank of admiral in the Imperial Navy, and later was named Chief of State of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. Daala enlisted in the Imperial Navy on Carida, but was discriminated against due to her sex. However, she achieved success thanks to Moff Wilhuff Tarkin, who discovered her after she defeated many skilled Imperial opponents in simulated battles, using an alias to hide her true identity. Tarkin took her under his wing, and as he rose in the ranks, so did she. She became his lover and was eventually promoted to admiral by him. Shortly after, she was sent to oversee the top-secret Imperial research facility known as the Maw Installation. There, some of the best scientists in the galaxy worked on new concepts, designing superweapons for the Empire. She resided there with four Imperial I-class Star Destroyers for eleven years, unaware of what was happening in the galaxy.

In 11 ABY, Kyp Durron, Han Solo, and Chewbacca stumbled upon the facility after making an emergency escape from Kessel. She interrogated them, and was stunned to learn that Tarkin and Emperor Palpatine were dead and the Empire was on the verge of collapse, having been defeated by the Rebel Alliance. She decided to launch her campaign to wreak havoc on the galaxy and gain revenge for Tarkin's death, with her four Star Destroyers and the Sun Crusher superweapon. However, the Sun Crusher was stolen from her by Solo and his two companions, who were also able to warn the New Republic of Daala's existence. Ultimately, Daala accomplished little, and with three of her Star Destroyers destroyed, headed back to the Maw to try to protect it from the New Republic. There, she found New Republic forces, who attacked her fleet. Though she managed to destroy the Installation, preventing the New Republic from gaining new weapons, her Star Destroyer was damaged and she made an emergency hyperspace jump.

In 12 ABY, Daala attempted to unify the Imperial warlords, but found little success. She executed them, then took command of their forces. She once again attempted to destroy the New Republic, this time with the aid of Vice Admiral Gilad Pellaeon. However, she was defeated, and relinquished command to Pellaeon, resigning from the military. A year later, she re-appeared to aid the New Republic against the corrupt Moff Getelles, then disappeared, swearing she was done with military service. It was at this time that Daala was reunited with her former lover Liegeus Vorn; the two married and later had a son. In 17 ABY she once again attacked the New Republic, but was defeated. The New Republic believed she was dead, but Daala stunned them, when, in 40 ABY, she revealed herself to the galaxy once more. Commander of the Maw Irregular Fleet, she split from the Imperial Remnant to join the Mandalorians and fight against Darth Caedus, the despotic leader of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. Following the death of Caedus, she became the new Chief of State of the Galactic Alliance.

NAME: Admiral Natasi Daala
HOMEWORLD: Carida (actual homeplanet unknown)
SPECIES: Human
GENDER: Female
HAIR COLOR: Copper, eventually graying
EYE COLOR: Green

ERAS: Rise of the Empire era, Rebellion era, New Republic era, New Jedi Order era, Legacy era
AFFILIATION: Galactic Empire (Maw fleet), Imperial Remnant, Independent Company of Settlers, Maw Irregular Fleet, Jedi Coalition, Galactic Federation of Free Alliances

BIOGRAPHY:
Natasi Daala fell in love with the holo faker Liegeus Vorn when she was young. However, feeling a need for a sense of duty, she enrolled in the Academy of Carida to serve the Empire, and so left Vorn.

While she was a talented student and officer at the Imperial Academy, she was continually passed over for promotion due to her gender, though accounts by Imperial military officers said that she argued too much. To take out her frustrations toward the male-dominated military, she made herself a false computer identity. Under this alias, Daala was able to defeat many high-level officers, including some of her own instructors, in simulated battles. Many of her tactics were based upon ideas formed by former Galactic Republic commander Jan Dodonna. Her tactics were studied and implemented throughout the entire Imperial military, despite the fact that no one was aware of her true identity. Daala graduated from the Academy, but ended up a non-commissioned officer in the Imperial Army.

PROTEGE OF WILHUFF TARKIN:
Due to her talents, she soon gained the attention of Moff Wilhuff Tarkin. He investigated Daala's hidden exploits at the Academy, hiring two black-market slicers who worked for several months to find the identity of the hidden strategist. He was pleasantly surprised to discover her true identity. At the time, Daala held the rank of corporal and had first been a computer clerk, then a member of the kitchen staff preparing food for Star Destroyers. When the Carida staff discovered her identity, they planned to reassign her to a meteorological station at the planet's southern pole. However, Tarkin took her on as his protégé and mistress, using his influence to bypass the normal military hierarchy and promote her. Daala eventually received the rank of admiral, though, in later years, her rank badge would come to represent the rank of Grand Moff.

Many quietly complained that Daala was sleeping her way to the top. When one of those remarks made its way back to Tarkin, he searched out the officer who had made it. He had the officer sealed inside an environmental suit and ejected him into the space over a planet as punishment. Tarkin had the suit's radio left on so that others could hear the man over the course of 24 hours as his orbit decayed. The officer's orbit decayed to the point where he finally entered the planet's atmosphere and burned upon reentry. However, the allegations were in fact partly accurate, as Daala did have an affair with Tarkin.

COMMAND OF MAW INSTALLATION:
Tarkin, now a Grand Moff, entrusted Daala with overseeing and protecting the Maw Installation, the birthplace of the Death Stars, World Devastators, and the Sun Crusher. This facility was hidden away even from the rest of the Empire, and a fleet of four Imperial-class Star Destroyers—the Basilisk, Gorgon, Hydra, and Manticore—was stationed there. Daala herself received the Gorgon as her flagship, with Commander Kratas as her senior subordinate. She was to protect the facility in the unexpected event of attack, keeping the top-secret designs, as well as the scientists such as Qwi Xux and Tol Sivron, safe. Very few, save for Emperor Palpatine, knew about this facility, though Daala believed that even Palpatine was unaware of the Maw. After having her promoted to admiral, Tarkin ordered Daala never to abandon her post or break communication silence unless he returned, as she had no authority outside Tarkin's command. However, Tarkin did recall her from the Maw on several occasions, and she was present with Tarkin on the planet Alderaan around 7 BBY when he had a meeting with the planet's senator, Bail Organa.

Around 0 BBY Daala was stationed at the Maw while Tarkin was onboard the Death Star, a massive superweapon being constructed above the planet Despayre. Tarkin had ordered Daala to never leave, but he found himself breaking his own rule when he summoned her from the installation. Tarkin contacted her via holocomm, and informed her that he wished she join him on the station. Daala eagerly agreed and hurried to fly to Despayre. When she arrived, she met Tarkin in the docking bay and the two headed to her quarters. Daala later witnessed Tarkin question Admiral Motti after the Undauntable, a Star Destroyer under the command of the respected Admiral Jaim Helaw, exploded seemingly at random. Tarkin was clueless as to who the guilty party was.

Daala later showed Tarkin a video she had obtained from the security cameras after hacking into Tarkin's files. This video showed an unidentified being planting an explosive in a cargo container at the Gall Imperial Regional Naval Supply Area. As this facility had a reputation for extreme security, the two of them began to believe it was an inside job. However, they still did not know the identity of the bomber. Tarkin gave her the task of determining who had set the bomb, although Daala was unable to learn anything and headed back to the Maw, with plans to return soon.

When she returned a short time afterwards, her Star Destroyer entered in a battle zone. A Rebel Lucrehulk-class battleship named the Fortressa had appeared and released 500 X-wings. The Death Star's superlaser made short work of the ship, and the station's TIE pilots easily defeated the fighters. However, during the battle Daala was injured, suffering a head injury when her Star Destroyer was hit. She was taken to the Death Star, where she was operated on by doctors Kornell Divini, Abu Banu and Roa. Daala survived, but she had memory loss, forgetting the events of the past year. Tarkin sent her back to the Maw after carefully erasing all records of her presence. Unknown to Daala, after Divini experienced a change of heart about the Empire and decided to defect, he used her for his cover, claiming that the shuttle he was on was going to pick up Daala, whom he said had been wounded in battle.

The Death Star was destroyed at the Battle of Yavin not longer afterwards, killing Tarkin. However, Daala remained unaware of this. For eleven more years she waited patiently to hear from Tarkin, while the scientists continued research and development on a variety of weapons. Daala kept her crew battle ready with many drills, ensuring that when Tarkin finally did contact her, she and her soldiers would be ready.

REVEALED TO THE GALAXY:
In 11 ABY, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Kyp Durron escaped from the prison planet Kessel and accidentally discovered the Maw Installation. Since they were in an Imperial shuttle, which they called the Endor, Daala's crew assumed they were an emissary sent by Tarkin, who had not communicated with them in over a decade. However, when they provided an incorrect code, Daala captured and imprisoned them. Soon Daala interrogated Han Solo, who informed her of the events of the Galactic Civil War. Daala learned for the first time about the destruction of the Death Stars and the deaths of Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader, and Grand Moff Tarkin. She also learned that the Empire had fragmented into numerous squabbling warlords. With no true high command in place, and with Tarkin dead, Daala decided that her orders were obsolete and planned to leave the Maw to wage her own personal guerilla war against the Rebels. As vengeance to the three who had informed her of this dire situation, Daala planned to execute Durron and keep Solo and Chewbacca as prisoners. Having drilled her troops ceaselessly over the past decade, Daala knew that her forces were ready and fit for such a war, and prepared to leave the Maw. However, her plans were set back when her prisoners, aided by disillusioned Maw researcher Qwi Xux, escaped with the Sun Crusher.

Though she attempted to suppress the Sun Crusher with sheer numbers, the near-indestructible superweapon was too durable and Daala was unable to damage it. In order to escape Daala, Han Solo piloted the Sun Crusher towards the Hydra, and plowed straight through its command bridge. The Sun Crusher then entered hyperspace, as the Hydra plummeted into a black hole. Enraged by the loss of one of her Star Destroyers, Daala pursued the diminutive superweapon out of the Maw, and ran into Kessel administrator Moruth Doole's small mercenary fleet. Doole's fleet panicked and fired on Daala's ships. Daala soundly defeated them with minor losses, yet the pain of the Hydra's loss still lingered with her.

Nevertheless, Daala continued on, undaunted, and began raiding New Republic shipping. Daala intercepted a CR90 corvette on its way to a colony on Dantooine. After interrogating the ship's Sullustan captain, Daala's crew found heavy weaponry and equipment for starfighter hangars. Daala determined that the colony was probably a Rebel base, and then released the corvette long enough for it to make an emergency transmission to the New Republic. This way, the New Republic would be aware of her, and, Daala hoped, the knowledge of her attacks would incite chaos and panic. After the transmission was made, she destroyed the corvette and proceeded on to Dantooine. There, Daala sent six AT-ATs to deal with the colony, which was quickly destroyed.

After the attack on Dantooine, Daala's fleet received intelligence from an old Imperial probe droid. This information relayed to Daala the existence of the Mon Calamari shipyards that were important to the New Republic's navy. To Daala, Mon Calamari was as good of a target as any. If the shipyards were destroyed, it would be detrimental to the New Republic. With this new information, Daala decided to attack Mon Calamari. Using one of Tarkin's old strategies, Daala sent the Gorgon and the Basilisk in to fire on the surface of the planet, while the Manticore sat in the darkness of Mon Calamari's moon. In this way, Daala thought she could divert forces away from the shipyards and give the Manticore a clear run at them. Although she was initially successful, a former Mon Calamari admiral in the New Republic fleet, Ackbar, recognized Daala's tactic immediately, having been Tarkin's personal slave. Using a partially finished Mon Cal cruiser, Ackbar sent the ship on a collision with the Manticore, resulting in a second ship from Daala's dwindling fleet being destroyed. Enraged, Daala ordered a full-scale assault on the planet's surface, destroying several of its floating cities. She then fled before New Republic reinforcements could arrive.

Following her defeat at Mon Calamari, Daala retreated to the Cauldron Nebula. She planned to go down fighting, striking a fatal blow against the New Republic by evacuating one of her two remaining Star Destroyers of personnel and equipment, and sending it crashing down onto the surface of Coruscant. This last desperate plan was again met with defeat when rogue Jedi Kyp Durron, piloting the Sun Crusher, delayed Daala's operation by attacking her ship. Daala realized it was just a distraction, and that Durron had already ignited the stars in the nebula with the Sun Crusher's resonance torpedos. She ordered all ships to immediately jump into hyperspace, hoping they could get out before the stars exploded. However, only the Gorgon escaped, as the Basilisk was incinerated by the explosion. Weary of her continuous failed efforts, Daala realized that her selfish and petty desire to do harm to the Rebels had caused the death of the thousands she had been entrusted to lead and protect. She decided to return with the Gorgon to the Maw Installation, vowing to return to Tarkin's assigned mission, and defend it to the death.

THE REUNIFICATION OF THE EMPIRE:
The remnants of the Imperial command dismantled the Gorgon and distributed her surviving crew among the various commanders. Daala chose not to join with anyone, instead serving as a roaming ambassador amongst the warlords in an attempt to unify them. During a meeting with the self-proclaimed Supreme Warlord Blitzer Harrsk in 12 ABY, High Admiral Treuten Teradoc attacked Harrsk's orbiting fleet of twelve Star Destroyers. Teradoc's fleet of Victory-class Star Destroyers destroyed Harrsk's flagship, the Shockwave. Daala's second-in-command, Commander Kratas, was onboard the Shockwave inspecting its bridge at the time of its destruction. His death caused Daala great emotional pain and led her to resolve to stop the senseless, inter-warlord feuding at all costs.

However, desperate to avenge his lost flagship, Harrsk wanted an immediate reprisal against Teradoc and pressed Daala into service on the threat of death. Daala reluctantly took control of the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Firestorm. Harrsk, in the Whirlwind, insisted that Daala lead the attack against Teradoc. When they arrived at Teradoc's stronghold, which was hidden among the asteroids in the ring of a gas giant, they were set upon by Teradoc's fleet. Daala, however, personally took command of her ship's weapon systems and fired a concentrated ion bolt at the Whirlwind, paralyzing it and preventing Harrsk from continuing his assault against Teradoc. With a blaster aimed at a shocked and angry bridge crew, Daala pulled the Firestorm closer to the Whirlwind and activated the time-delayed self destruct system of the Firestorm. Daala told Harrsk that she would destroy her ship and his if he did not order a cessation of hostilities, wishing to force the two warlords to cooperate. As the countdown continued, Daala was contacted by the head of the Crimson Command, Vice Admiral Gilad Pellaeon, who desired to speak to Daala in person. Daala accepted and allowed Pellaeon onto her ship. Shortly after, Harrsk ordered a succession of hostilities, as he was convinced that Daala was not bluffing.

The Firestorm, escorted by two of Pellaeon's red Star Destroyers, jumped to a secluded spot in space so that Daala and Pellaeon could have an uninterrupted discussion. Like Daala, Pellaeon believed that the warlords were tearing the Empire apart, and he and Daala agreed to force the 13 most powerful warlords to a negotiating table in order to discuss the future of the Empire and plan a combined attack against the New Republic. They finally were able to get the warlords to congregate at Tsoss Beacon, an asteroid containg an Imperial base. Daala made the warlords leave their fleets behind, much to their displeasure. Though she attempted to motivate the Imperial warlords to fight together and crush the New Republic, they spent hours arguing instead, refusing to agree on anything. It became clear that none of them would ally with each other, and so, after hours of petty squabbling, Daala decided that the negotiations were a failure. She sealed the room and filled the chamber with gas, a contingency plan she had developed earlier. Only Daala and Pellaeon survived the poisonous gas, utilizing gas mask-like membranes that Daala had taken into the meeting in case she decided to use her plan to execute the warlords.

With the warlords out of the way, Daala set about uniting their now-leaderless forces. Last of all, Daala visited the fortress of Delvardus. Delvardus' second-in-command, Colonel Cronus, agreed to join Daala, handing her control of Delvardus' latest creation, the Super Star Destroyer Night Hammer. With the Night Hammer under her command, Daala quickly rallied the scattered remnants of the Empire, making her in the eyes of many the founder of the modern Imperial Remnant. She then named herself the Supreme Commander of the Imperial Fleet, with Pellaeon as her second-in-command. Daala began to prepare a full-on assault against the New Republic.

Admiral Natasi Daala - Part 2
« Reply #20 on: January 07, 2010, 11:44:46 AM »
ASSAULT ON THE JEDI PRAXEUM:
Daala instituted societal reforms in the Imperial military, ending decades of prejudice against women and nonhumans, but moreover vitalizing the decaying fleet with new recruits. She created a massive buildup in preparation for a planned strike at the New Republic. With her fleet ready, Daala and Pellaeon planned an attack on a planet they knew they could win, Yavin IV, the home of the Jedi Praxeum. Knowing she would be fighting the Jedi Knights, Daala added a "k" to her flagship's name, making it the Knight Hammer, as a pun. Daala's preparations were interrupted when two Jedi, Kyp Durron and Dorsk 81, were discovered in a crowd of Imperials during one of Daala's speeches. The Jedi fought their way out of the crowd and escaped before Daala could marshal her forces against them. Furious, Daala had their escape vector traced to a planet called Khomm in the Deep Core.

Daala sent Pellaeon and a group of Imperial Star Destroyers to Yavin IV for an attack on the Jedi Praxeum. She planned to follow shortly after Pellaeon, while Cronus, in command of a fleet of Victory-class Star Destroyers, including Pellaeon's previous flagship, the 13X, struck at Khomm and several other strategic targets. Cronus ravaged Khomm, and after bombarding the other planets, headed for Yavin IV.

Then, according to plan Daala arrived in-system after the enemy had been weakened. However, when the Knight Hammer arrived at Yavin IV, Pellaeon's fleet was nowhere to be found, despite sensor readings showing that troops had already been deployed by his fleet. Enraged, Daala launched a vicious bombardment against the jungle moon. Soon after, a YT-1300 light freighter, the Millennium Falcon, arrived at Yavin and landed on the moon despite Daala's attempt to stop it. It then returned to space after picking up several passengers, with its captain, none other than Han Solo from the Maw debacle, boldly taunting her. Daala sent out several TIE squadrons against the Falcon, and with such odds arrayed against Solo, death seemed inevitable. However, another unforeseen event occurred: Ackbar, the admiral who defeated her at Mon Calamari a year before, arrived in-system with the Mon Calamari cruiser Galactic Voyager and four Corellian corvettes. Suddenly, Colonel Cronus arrived in system with a portion of his Victory-class Star Destroyer fleet. Both Daala and Cronus attacked the New Republic fleet. Daala eventually destroyed the corvettes and damaged the Voyager, but once again, Daala's luck changed for the worse. A damaged corvette crashed into the 13X, destroying the ship and killing Cronus. Angered, Daala continued firing on the Voyager, destroying its shields. The New Republic was aided by the sudden appearance of several Victory-class Star Destroyers, but was still outnumbered. Daala then received news that Pellaeon's fleet had been located on the outskirts of the system. The Vice Admiral claimed that Jedi sorcery was responsible for him not being present at the battle. Nonetheless, Daala was still confident her forces would win. Suddenly, several explosions were set off on the Knight Hammer, destroying the engine units. The immobile Star Destroyer then began to drift towards the gas giant Yavin, pulled in by its immense gravitational field. Accepting defeat, Daala ordered an immediate evacuation of the ship. Before Daala managed to get to her executive escape pod, she was intercepted by Jedi Knight Callista Ming, who was responsible for the crippling of the Knight Hammer. Daala and Callista engaged in a short fire-fight before Daala shot her opponent with a stun blast. She then left Callista for dead and escaped from the dying wake of the Knight Hammer. By the time Daala's pod was recovered by Pellaeon, she had realized that her quest for vengeance against the New Republic had put too many loyal Imperials in danger. Daala promoted Pellaeon to the rank of Admiral and relinquished her title of Supreme Commander to him, apparently resigning from Imperial service for good.

LATER LIFE:
In 13 ABY, the droids C-3PO and R2-D2 encountered Daala on Cybloc XII. Following her retirement from Imperial service, Daala had become the leader of a group of settlers. She had made a deal with an Imperial Moff to settle down on Pedducis Chorios along with the thousands of colonists. However, when she arrived she found the planet virtually abandoned. Daala questioned the droids, who revealed (after being tortured) that the Death Seed plague had struck the planet, wiping out all beings there. The droids also told her that the plague had been released as part of a plan by the Loronar Corporation, ex-Senator Seti Ashgad—who had been exiled to Nam Chorios decades ago by Palpatine—and the corrupt Moff Getelles.

After learning this, she decided to fight against Getelles and Loronar, even though it meant aiding the New Republic. And so, fighting alongside the government she had once hated, Daala went to battle. The New Republic succeeded in defeating Getelles and containing the Death Seed, thanks in part to Daala. Daala was prepared to negotiate a peace treaty with the New Republic. Shortly before negotiations could begin, she encountered her old flame Liegeus Vorn. Following a negotiation, Daala and Vorn returned to Peduccis Chorios together.

Almost a year later, Daala resurfaced in the Deep Core looking to establish another fleet. With forces swelled by Imperials returning from imprisonment under the alien Yevetha, she united the squabbling factions under warlords including Foga Brill and Moff Tethys and prepared to strike once more at the New Republic. The forces of the Imperial Remnant were preparing for a grand pincer campaign, with Admiral Pellaeon moving coreward from the Outer Rim, and Daala and the new Deep Core warlords moving out from the Deep Core. Daala's campaign was unfocused as each warlord headed his own attacks against the New Republic. Because of the unfocused nature of her campaign, Daala did not have much success against the New Republic. In 17 ABY, she attacked the New Republic in the Deep Core. Her ships were trapped by General Garm Bel Iblis in a pair of CC-7000 gravity well frigates. Desperate, she had one of her ships ram one of the enemy CC-7000s, destroying it. Daala then made a blind hyperspace jump. Despite being presumed killed, New Republic Intelligence consistently refused to remove her name from the list of potential threats.

Though many believed she was dead, New Republic Intelligence was right in their worst-case scenario assumption that she had survived. Daala had fled the Deep Core and returned to the Maw. The Maw Installation was rebuilt and Daala established a small colony to live there under her command. Daala and her lover Vorn had a son, who would later have a daughter. Daala also built up a small fleet, named the Maw Irregular, which was armed with a variety of weapons designed by the Maw scientists themselves. During the Yuuzhan Vong War, in which extra-galactic aliens waged war on the galaxy, she helped out planets in need of aid, although word of this never spread to the New Republic's ears. Sometime after the Battle of Bastion in 28 ABY, Daala acquired the Chimaera, an Imperial Star Destroyer that had served as the flagship of the legendary Grand Admiral Thrawn 20 years earlier. In 35 ABY, Vorn was killed by the Moffs in an attempt to assassinate Daala. Though Daala survived, she lost one eye in the incident and swore revenge for the death of her love.

SECOND GAlACTIC CIVIL WAR:
In 40 ABY, the Second Galactic Civil War broke out. The Galactic Alliance, which had replaced the New Republic following the Yuuzhan Vong War, was in conflict with a group of rebel planets known as the Confederation. The Jedi Order had left the Galactic Alliance in protest of Chief of State Jacen Solo, now the Sith Lord Darth Caedus. Gilad Pellaeon, leader of the Imperial Remnant, which had signed a peace treaty with the Alliance decades earlier, was contacted by Caedus, who was seeking an alliance with the Imperials, who still possessed a formidable fleet. Pellaeon, who did not approve of Caedus' actions, declined his offer. However, he was troubled, and so decided to contact Daala, whom he had not seen in over 25 years.

Using a code known as the Darakaer code after an old Irmenu folk hero, Pellaeon sent a message to Daala, who received his message, and came to his aid. She met him onboard his new flagship, the Bloodfin. Daala informed Pellaeon of how she had survived and what she had been doing, and more while the two talked about Caedus' offer and the current situation in the galaxy. Both believed Caedus had no business in politics and needed to be knocked down a peg.

Following her discussion with Pellaeon, Daala contacted the famed bounty hunter Boba Fett, who was not surprised to learn that she had survived. Daala offered him a bounty, this one aimed at Caedus. Fett mulled over the offer, promising to get back to her. A short time later, Pellaeon took his fleet to Fondor, prepared to aid Caedus in the upcoming battle, where the Alliance was attempting to conquer the ship-building world. However, when Caedus and forces loyal to him attacked co-Chief of State Cha Niathal's ships in an attempt to gain sole control of the government, Pellaeon decided to support Niathal. He never had the chance. Tahiri Veila, Caedus' apprentice, aided by several traitorous Moffs, killed Pellaeon. Most of the Imperial fleet was now under the control of Darth Caedus.

It was then that Admiral Daala arrived. Her fleet, the Maw Irregular, jumped out of hyperspace, surprising Caedus. The fleet was composed of many "ancient" ships, such as a Venator-class Star Destroyer and Assassin-class corvettes. The lead ship was the Chimaera.

Swearing revenge for Pellaeon and Vorn, Daala moved into the battle. The Chimaera turned towards the Anakin Solo, Caedus' flagship. Prior to the battle, Daala had contacted Fett again, asking him to steal a Star Destroyer for her. Now, as Fett and his Mandalorian warriors put their plan into action, Daala's forces engaged the Alliance. The Chimaera blasted apart the Alliance vessels in her way, using Metal-Crystal Phase Shifters, a weapon that altered the molecular composition of the ships. This weapon had been developed at the Maw, and believed lost when the installation was damaged decades earlier, although Daala had kept the plans for it. Now, it made Daala's older ships a match for Caedus' newer fleet.

Thanks to Daala and her fleet, Caedus's forces lost the battle. Following the capture of the Bloodfin and slaughter of several Moffs by the Mandalorians, Daala headed to the ship to inspect it and speak with Fett. After identifying the Moffs and regretting the fact that one of the ones killed by the Mandalorians had been responsible for Vorn's death, meaning she couldn't kill him herself, Daala had a conversation with Fett. Both expressed the opinion that they were tired of Force-users reigning supreme, and that it only led to turmoil with Caedus turning to politics as the perfect example. Daala also told Boba Fett that she had a son and a granddaughter, something that came as a surprise to him. The two ended their conversation with a toast to Pellaeon, a man who Daala admired for his steadfast loyalty and determination. Daala later met with Fett on Keldabe, a city on the planet Mandalore. The two spoke once more, talking about their personal lives, in which Daala revealed her first name, Natasi.

GAlACTIC ALLIANCE CHIEF OF STATE:
Daala and the Maw Irregular Fleet later took part in such crucial final battles of the war such as the Second Battle of Roche. After the Battle of Shedu Maad, during which Darth Caedus was killed by his twin sister Jaina Solo in 41 ABY, Daala was nominated by Alliance Admiral Nek Bwua'tu for the position of Galactic Alliance Chief of State, as he did not wish to enter politics. In lieu of Cha Niathal, Daala was appointed as the only universally accepted choice. She had some changes to make to the Moff Council as well. The new council would be composed of an equal amount of females as males, something still unheard of decades after Emperor Palpatine's death. In her inaugural address, she promised to do everything she could for peace, with hopes that one day war would not exist.

Daala's early regime was one of peace, although she was quick to punish law-breakers. This led to heightened surveillance across the galaxy, even on notorious crime worlds such as Nar Shaddaa. However, not all was good. The Mon Calamari were particularly resentful of her being elevated to Chief of State and wanted to try her for war crimes, particularly her attack on their planet. Daala was also distrustful of the New Jedi Order and had a tense working relationship with Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker. Daala believed that a just and fair government would not need the Jedi Order to police it, and feared that more Jedi would turn to the dark side like Caedus, preventing the galaxy from ever having a lasting peace. She also increased the role and reach of the Mandalorians, whom she brought into the Galactic Alliance as elite security operatives and intelligence specialists. Skywalker feared that she wanted to increase the power and resources of the Mandalorians in case she needed to use them against the Jedi, such as when she dispatched a team of Mandalorians to track down the rogue Jedi Seff Hellin—much to the dismay and concern of Skywalker, who was having trouble getting her to accept that the Jedi were self-policing. She later ordered that Luke Skywalker be arrested for dereliction of duty after he called all Jedi back to the Jedi Temple.

PERSONALITY AND TRAITS:
Daala was an aggressive commander who harbored much frustration at being so poorly treated in the Imperial command structure. She was considered to be remarkably charismatic, but due to her gender and suspect manner of promotion this was often ignored. She also could be ruthless, ordering the bombardment of colonies, the destruction of merchant vessels, the torture of prisoners, and the destruction of worlds with seemingly no remorse. Daala was often prone to great fury which she found difficult to constrain, but found that attacking a target during battle was the best way to release her anger. She felt that outbursts of one's anger were unprofessional, and restrained herself mostly to serve as an example to her crewmen. She was also mistrustful of Force-users, both light and dark-side, and in a private conference with Boba Fett agreed that the galaxy would be better off without them.

Daala was also devoted to the cause of the Empire almost to the point of irrationalism—at least in the eyes of the post-Endor warlords—and to following orders, remaining at the Maw installation for years without any outside contact. She felt that the Empire provided order, a thing greatly needed, and something the New Republic did not have. She also was willing to go to great lengths to further that cause, including killing other Imperial leaders, wanting to sacrifice a Star Destroyer to destroy Coruscant, and sacrificing her own life for the Empire. Often before making a decision or when contemplating failure, Daala would think of Tarkin, imagining his rage in the case of the latter.

Beneath the carefully calculated façade used to inspire loyalty in her crew, however, Daala did have a soft side, which she displayed very rarely to those she led or fought against, since she strived to not show any weakness. Daala felt that being a woman caused others to be naturally biased against her, and she worked to keep her emotions in, as she felt that emotion was often a sign of weakness. She did occasionally reveal an emotional side towards those she respected and trusted, such as her long time second-in-command and her former lover. Daala also displayed a high degree of emotion toward her own people, particularly when she thought she had let them down. When the Hydra plunged into the Maw, she was overwhelmed with the thought of all the crewmen losing their lives, and because she had been charged with leading and training them, she felt that their deaths were her fault. She had several other similar reactions to death, such as when her long time second-in-command, Kratas, was killed during a inter-warlord skirmish. Daala blamed herself for getting him involved in what she viewed as a petty feud, and had to fight back the surge of emotion that resulted from his death.

These deaths also played to Daala's own vindictiveness, and she would go to great lengths to avenge her losses, personal and otherwise. For instance, when the Hydra crashed into the Maw, she obliterated a practically unarmed colony on Dantooine in order sate her appetite for vengeance. Despite her vindictiveness, her compassion for those who served under her was what led her to believe that her constant string of failures put too many lives in jeopardy, to which she reacted by handing Gilad Pellaeon the reigns of the Empire.

Despite her hatred of the New Republic and its heroes like Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa Solo, Daala decided to fight alongside them to defeat Darth Caedus in 41 ABY. As she had explained to Pellaeon, she was tired of Force-users taking control, as she felt they had done nothing to deserve political power. Daala also wanted vengeance for Vorn's death at the hands of the Moffs, and hoped to kill the Imperial Moffs who were responsible. Caedus was defeated with the aid of Daala's fleet, after which she was elected head of the Galactic Alliance, successor to the New Republic she had once despised. She promised to restore peace to the galaxy, and worked hard to make her vision of a peaceful future a reality. However, Daala still harbored resentment towards Luke Skywalker, and distrusted his Jedi Order.

RELATIONSHIPS:
Liegeus Vorn: Daala first met Vorn before enrolling in the Imperial Academy, and fell in love with him. However, the two were forced to part when Daala entered the Imperial Academy on Carida prior to 0 BBY, although she would meet him again in 13 ABY. They discovered that their feelings had never gone away, and they later had at least one son. The duo's love was very strong, and they stayed together until Vorn was killed in 35 ABY by the Moffs in a failed attempt to assassinate Daala. Daala swore revenge on the Moffs for this, and refused to get a replacement for the eye she had lost in the attack.

Wilhuff Tarkin: Tarkin discovered Daala after learning of a mysterious individual who constantly beat all their opponents in simulated battles at Carida's Imperial Academy. After finding out that she was a woman, and being discriminated against because of it, he took her under his wing, and the two became lovers, despite the fact that he was married. Daala found Tarkin to be everything she wanted—a man with power, ambition, and who was a great lover. She greatly admired Tarkin, and studied his strategies. Tarkin meanwhile promoted her to admiral, and placed her in charge of the Maw Installation. After learning of Tarkin's death at Yavin IV, Daala was stunned, and promised to avenge her former lover and mentor.

INFO: Dannik Jerriko was an Anzati bounty hunter known as the Eater of Luck.

NAME: Dannik Jerriko
HOMEWORLD: Anzat
SPECIES: Anzati
GENDER: Male
HAIR COLOR: Black
EYE COLOR: Brown

SPECIAL NOTE: Born between 1,010 BBY and 1,006 BBY

ERAS: Old Republic era, Rise of the Empire era, Rebellion era
AFFILIATION: None

BIOGRAPHY:
Jerriko drank his victims' brain matter, or soup of life, as he called it. Reasoning that they would go unnoticed, Jerriko preyed on murderers, thieves, and thugs, and was known amongst wealthier underworld bosses as an expensive, but thorough, means of dealing with failed assassins. An enigma, Jerriko did not suffer fools lightly and would not tolerate a client who could not appreciate the value received for his high fees. After brutally slaying and draining one complaining employer, Jerriko never heard another quibble over his price.

Born during the New Sith Wars, Jerriko was just less than a thousand years old when Palpatine came to power. Somewhat surprisingly, he did not encounter a Jedi after 100 BBY until Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Seeking out the soup of dangerous criminals, Jerriko came to Tatooine's Mos Eisley Cantina. On the day of Greedo's death, Jerriko sensed a strong, intoxicating soup of life from a Human. He attempted to probe Obi-Wan Kenobi, but he found the Jedi able to shield himself from Anzati probing, although young Luke Skywalker was a prime specimen. Jerriko's attention was drawn upon his discovery of Han Solo's presence at the cantina. Sensing a strong soup and aware of Jabba Desilijic Tiure's hefty bounty on Solo's head, Jerriko planned to make his move, but the smuggler departed from Tatooine before he could act.

Seven months after the Battle of Yavin, Jerriko was hired on Tatooine to protect Tash Arranda, Zak Arranda, and Mammon Hoole from an Imperial assassin named Domisari. Jerriko spent some time in Jabba's Palace secretly following Hoole and the Arrandas. Eventually, Hoole, Zak, and Tash left Tatooine for Nespis VIII. Jerriko followed them there, and when Domisari finally attacked Hoole and the two children, Jerriko sprung into action, killing Domisari and drinking her soup.

After this assignment, Jerriko returned to Jabba's Palace after agreeing to spy on Jabba for Lady Valarian and Eugene Talmont. Still desirous of Solo's soup, the Anzati's became excited upon the arrival of a carbonite slab containing Solo. However, Jerriko was deprived of his chance to drink Solo's soup when his Rebel Alliance comrades saved him. Frustrated at the loss of this opportunity, Jerriko accepted the option of sapping Jabba, only to be foiled by Jabba's death at the Great Pit of Carkoon. Mad with vampiric hunger and rage, Jerriko killed a number of unfortunate survivors at Jabba's Palace and then fled Tatooine to continue his endless search for "soup".

General Carlist Rieekan
« Reply #22 on: January 07, 2010, 12:15:17 PM »
INFO: Carlist Rieekan was a leading military commander of the Alliance to Restore the Republic and one of the Rebellion's original founding members. A tactician renowned for his ability to lead evacuation efforts, Rieekan served most notably as theater commander of all Alliance forces in the Hoth system. From the Alliance High Command headquarters at Echo Base, he oversaw the Rebels' evacuation during the Battle of Hoth. He later became one of the New Republic's first Ministers of State.

NAME: Carlist Rieekan
HOMEWORLD: Alderaan
SPECIES: Human
GENDER: Male
HAIR COLOR: Brown
EYE COLOR: Blue

ERAS: Rise of the Empire era, Rebellion era, New Republic era, New Jedi Order era
AFFILIATION: Galactic Republic, Alliance to Restore the Republic, Alliance of Free Planets, New Republic, Galactic Federation of Free Alliances

BIOGRAPHY:
Carlist grew up on the peace-loving world of Alderaan. Despite his homeworld's idyllic nature, the young Rieekan knew that sometimes ighting was necessary to prevent further tragedies. His staunch ideals led him to enter military service in the Judicial Forces at the age of 17, and he served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. His natural leadership abilities enabled him to quickly move through the ranks and to enter Officer Candidate School.

When the Galactic Empire took over, it was only natural for Rieekan to stay true to his own ideals and to follow Alderaan into joining the Rebel Alliance. He was able to find joy and solidarity in the secret knowledge that the members of the Royal House of Alderaan, the Organas, were chief proponents of similar hopes for the restoration of freedom.

GALACTIC CIVIL WAR:
At the outset of Alderaan's involvement in the Galactic Civil War, Rieekan commanded covert operations in the Alderaan system. His command included a network of communications satellites that linked star systems near Alderaan. When the first Death Star arrived in orbit around Alderaan, Rieekan was inspecting a new satellite transmission station in a far orbit around Delaya, Alderaan's sister planet. Almost immediately, frantic transmissions were sent to Rieekan—desperate pleas for evacuation ships. However, Rieekan feared that evacuation at that moment would reveal Alderaan's Rebel sympathies. Instead, he called the Empire's bluff, only to see his homeworld instantly obliterated. It was to his own horrified dismay that, through secret intelligence sources, he knew of the battlestation's capabilities. While there was little Rieekan truly could have done in that moment, he blamed himself for not taking action. Never again, he vowed, would he mistakenly opt for subtlety and caution over action. Never again would he gamble with the lives under his command.

Following the Rebellion's victory at Yavin, Rieekan would serve the Alliance as a line officer. He served at Nentan along with Bren Derlin. There, he oversaw the evacuation of many civilian refugees hoping to find asylum from the Empire. He then managed the evacuation of several thousand liberated Rebel prisoners at the Battle of Tiems. His strategy there was later considered a text book defense by Crix Madine. He also oversaw the evacuation of the base at Dankayo, and the destruction of the Imperial armored transport Elusive, preventing vital Alliance intelligence from falling into Imperial hands, which would have jeopardized Rebel operations in three sectors. His service in these operations earned him a reputation as an officer capable in directing large scale evacuations.

Rieekan's service after Yavin also saw him working closely with the fledgling Rogue Squadron, sending them on a number of escort and rescue missions. During his secret meeting with recently defected Imperial officer Crix Madine on Corellia in 1 ABY, Rieekan and Madine were rescued from an Imperial ambush by Rogue Squadron, with some timely assistance by Han Solo and Chewbacca aboard the Millennium Falcon. Rieekan was a strong supporter of Madine during the period when he faced heavy distrust from some Alliance members who thought him to be an Imperial spy. He teamed Madine and the Rogues on a number of operations, including the campaign against Moff Kohl Seerdon's forces. The eventual inclusion of Madine as Chief Military Advisor in Mon Mothma's Advisory Council proved essential for a number of critical Alliance victories, including the ground assault at Endor years later.

His successes at Nentan, Tiems and Dankayo made General Rieekan a perfect candidate for the command of the new, secret Echo Base on Hoth in 2 ABY in the event that the base required either defense or evacuation or, as the case was, both. He was given the rank of theater commander in charge of all Rebel ground and fleet forces in the Hoth system. Rieekan brought Major Bren Derlin, who he had served with at Nentan, to Echo Base to serve as head of security and operations. When the facility came under siege in the Battle of Hoth, Rieekan employed the delaying defense he had preemptively designed that allowed much of the base's personnel to escape. Still, his directive was issued in pain. He knew that the same plan that would save the lives of many would also mean the deaths of many brave soldiers.

Rieekan abandoned Echo Base sometime midway through the battle, escaping aboard one of the thirteen GR-75 medium transports that managed to run the Imperial blockade of the planet and reach the secret rendezvous point. He was immediately assigned to the EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate Redemption for a time. Later in 3 ABY, he dispatched Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa on the mission to destroy the Imperial superweapon known as the

Rieekan continued to serve the Alliance as theater commander for the Alliance High Command. During this time, he still performed field missions alongside young tactics genius Risiev Credal. After Credal's apparent desertion, Rieekan wrote a report for the Task Force on Alliance Security about the threat he posed: He explained that Credal's genius helped to develop Attack Pattern Delta and that, if he had deserted, all of the Rebel tactics were exposed. During this time, Rieekan also wrote a threat report about the Brosin Underground.

While stationed at the Alliance base on Arbra, the General oversaw the plan to hide the Rebel fleet in the chromosphere of the planet's sun. Rieekan was later pleased to be one of the officers who presided over the hearing that reinstated Luke Skywalker to the rank of Commander, exonerating him of the charges brought against him for the presumed death of Rebel pilot Shira Brie. Following the Battle of Endor, Rieekan led a contingent of Rebels back to Arbra's Haven Base during the Nagai-Tof War.

NEW REPUBLIC ERA:
During the early years of the New Republic, Rieekan was placed in Alliance military administration, where he was responsible for devising overall campaign strategies against the Empire. He was one of the prime planners of the campaign that drove the Empire from Coruscant. He continued to serve in that position during the Thrawn crisis. Rieekan was later involved in the struggle against a renewed Empire lead by Palpatine's clone, which forced the New Republic to leave the former Imperial City.

Rieekan moved on to politics, after the New Republic's return to Coruscant, serving as Mon Mothma's military advisor and, after her resignation in 11 ABY, as Chief of State Leia Organa Solo's Minister of State. In this capacity, he acted as her second-in-command to the Ruling Council and took over during her absences. One of these occasions was her disappearance during the trouble on Nam Chorios in 13 ABY. During this stage of his career, Rieekan survived a poisoning attempt, which was intended to throw the New Republic into chaos.

Years later in 16 ABY, as the director of New Republic Intelligence, he decided to terminate Colonel Pakkpekatt's pursuit of the mysterious ghost ship that carried Lando Calrissian, his aide Lobot, C-3PO and R2-D2 as involuntary passengers. However, Rieekan did allow Pakkpekatt to take Calrissian's ship, Lady Luck and three volunteers to search for the ship.

YUUZHAN VONG WAR:
When the Yuuzhan Vong War reached Coruscant, General Rieekan came out of retirement and oversaw the efforts of the Coruscant Planetary Defense Force. Despite Rieekan's able command, the alien invaders overwhelmed the New Republic forces and conquered the galactic capital. Carlist Rieekan remained a member of the reorganized Galactic Alliance, and participated in the planning of the final assault against the Yuuzhan Vong.

INFO: Jaxxon was a quick-witted Lepi smuggler from Coachelle Prime. The most rambunctious of his family's thirteen children, he left his homeworld at an early age, after stealing an unprotected freighter. He made his way to Nar Shaddaa, where he began to perform odd jobs, quickly becoming familiar with the important elements of fringe culture. After a short stint as a mercenary, he decided to try his hand at smuggling, and he bought a WUD-500 starship, christening it the Rabbit's Foot. However, the ship was fraught with mechanical problems and he was forced to land at the shady spaceport of Aduba-3. Needing to acquire funds in order to make repairs, he accepted a job from Han Solo, and became part of the Star-Hoppers of Aduba-3, a mercenary force tasked with defending the small village of Onacra. After protecting the community from Cloud-Riders, the group was forced to fight off the Behemoth from the World Below. Due to Solo's efforts, the giant monster was killed, and Jaxxon was able to get the money needed to repair his ship.

Later, Jaxxon paired up with one of his fellow Star-Hoppers, Amaiza Foxtrain, to help him in his smuggling business. Using her skill at gambling, the two eventually built up enough money to modify the Rabbit's Foot considerably, making it a formidable smuggling vessel. A short time after the Battle of Yavin, bounty hunters loyal to Beilert Valance, who were looking for clues to the whereabouts of Luke Skywalker, captured Jaxxon. The hunters had inadvertently confused one of Jaxxon's fellow Star-Hoppers, Jimm Doshun, with Skywalker, and knew that Jaxxon would know his location. After prying the location of Aduba-3 from Jaxxon, Valance and his crew went to the world to capture "Skywalker." However, Jaxxon and Foxtrain got there first, and in a carefully executed plan they were able to defeat Valance's men, leaving only him alive at the end of the encounter. Once Valance had realized his mistake, he fled from Aduba-3, claiming that the Star-Hoppers would never stop him from locating his quarry.

NAME: Jaxxon
HOMEWORLD: Coachelle Prime
SPECIES: Lepi
GENDER: Male
HAIR COLOR: Green
EYE COLOR: Black

ERAS: Rise of the Empire era, Rebellion era
AFFILIATION: Star-Hoppers of Aduba-3

BIOGRAPHY:
Jaxxon was born on the planet Coachelle Prime to a small family by Lepi standards. One of thirteen children, Jaxxon was the most rambunctious of the bunch and had dreams of seeing the larger galaxy. However, his family was quite conservative, keeping a quiet house, and his mother had hopes that Jaxxon would grow out of his restlessness and settle down, hopefully to marry a nice girl and father a large family. Despite his mother's hopes, Jaxxon remained uncontrollable, and even before his teenage years, he had spent a decent amount of time in the planet's juvenile remand centers. As the odd one out among his family, Jaxxon decided to go off-world. At the age of twelve, he stole a poorly-guarded freighter and headed for parts unknown.

On a course for the Outer Rim Territories, Jaxxon eventually landed on Nar Shaddaa, the Smuggler's Moon. Although he had neglected his studies on his homeworld, Jaxxon quickly took to his new life on his own, becoming well-schooled in the elements of fringe culture and streetwise survival. To earn a living, Jaxxon began taking on assorted odd jobs, eventually falling into a tougher crowd. By the time of the Clone Wars, there was a price on his head. He joined the mercenary squad known as the Boys of Corus a short time later. Based out of the Corus system, the group helped Jaxxon hone his marksmanship skills, and he was soon well-versed in the use of weaponry. However, during one operation in the Corporate Sector, the group was subject to a double-cross by their employers. The event marked the end of the mercenary squad, and Jaxxon returned to Nar Shaddaa without a steady-paying job.

Starved for a source of income, Jaxxon decided to pursue a career in smuggling. With the small amount of funds that he had saved up, Jaxxon invested in a WUD-500 starship, a beat-up freighter that he christened the Rabbit's Foot. However, the used Corellian craft was rife with problems. On a run through the Aduba system, mechanical problems forced Jaxxon to make a stop on the planet of Aduba-3. Stuck until he could repair his ship, Jaxxon set out to gather supplies to begin fixing the Rabbit's Foot.

GALACTIC CIVIL WAR:
Unfortunately for Jaxxon, the purchase of his ship had left him short on funds and unable to perform repairs. However, while waiting in Locru's Central Saloon, he heard of a quick job for hired guns. Hoping to make use of his mercenary background, Jaxxon answered the call, lining up outside the employer's door with several other hopefuls. The hirer turned out to be none other than Han Solo, a famed smuggler, who, along with his Wookiee co-pilot, Chewbacca, was lying low on the world to avoid the bounty on his head placed by Jabba the Hutt. While there, Solo had answered the pleas of Ramiz, a villager from the nearby village of Onacra, to protect his people from the murderous gang known as the Cloud-Riders. To help him in this endeavor, Solo had decided to recruit as many of the locals as he could.

After the first ten hopefuls had been rejected by Solo, the next three, including the Spiner Hedji, the pirate Amaiza Foxtrain, and the purported Jedi Knight Don-Wan Kihotay, were all accepted into Solo's band. As the next in line, Jaxxon had become incredibly impatient, and he urged the ancient Kihotay to hurry out of Solo's room. However, before Jaxxon could make it into the room to meet Solo, he was pushed out of the way by Warto, a Boltrunian thug that insisted that he needed to be next to meet with the employer. Jaxxon attempted to dissuade Warto, but the Boltrunian simply turned and hit Jaxxon, knocking him to the floor. Irritated by Warto's tactics, Jaxxon responded by kicking the Boltrunian with his powerful legs, propelling him down a flight of stairs. The confrontation happened to be witnessed by Solo, and, impressed by the Lepi's fighting skills, he offered him a place in the slowly growing mercenary band. Jaxxon accepted and agreed to meet with the rest of the group at dawn the next morning. Solo completed the group by hiring Jimm Doshun and FE-9Q after Jaxxon had left. The Star-Hoppers of Aduba-3 were complete.

At dawn, the Star-Hoppers met and began to familiarize themselves with one another as Solo laid out the plan to defend Onacra from the Cloud-Riders. However, just as Solo had begun to explain, the Cloud-Riders appeared on their skyspeeders, having heard of the group that was set to oppose them. Solo and the Cloud-Riders' leader, Serji-X Arrogantus, began to negotiate over the upcoming battle, but neither would back down. As the Cloud-Riders prepared to leave, Jaxxon was surprised to see that Warto had actually joined the Cloud-Riders, intent on getting revenge against Jaxxon and Solo, who had brawled with the Boltrunian before he had tried to tangle with Jaxxon. With a feeling of foreboding in the air, the Star-Hoppers secured a group of banthas for riding and made their way towards Onacra.

On the outskirts of the village, Solo spotted a large group of predators flying through the air. Doshun, the only native to Aduba-3 identified the birds as high-hounds, large beasts that were known to attack the people's crop of maze-stalks. Since the Star-Hoppers had been tasked with protecting the village, Solo rallied the group to action, and they began to fend off the high-hounds. With a blaster pistol in each hand, Jaxxon killed many of the beasts before they decided to scatter. During the fighting, Jaxxon began to fall into sync with Foxtrain, and together, the two blew apart many of the creatures. Although Jaxxon attempted to flirt with the woman, claiming that they could make "beautiful blaster-music" together, Foxtrain fended off his advances, adverse to working with someone who looked like a "big green rabbit."

As the high-hounds fled from their attackers, the Star-Hoppers made their way into the village. After tethering their banthas in a local stable, the group began to unload their munitions that they had brought with them. As the last of the weapons and power paks had been unloaded from their mounts, the Star-Hoppers were confronted by the Old One, who claimed that they were not needed, and that he would be able to summon a great monster to save the village. Solo shrugged off the old man's apparent delusions, and began to ready his force to combat the Cloud-Riders. As the Star-Hoppers prepared themselves, Jaxxon was the first to spot the Cloud-Riders advancing on the village, with Arrogantus in the lead, firing his blaster wildly.

As the Cloud-Riders descended on the village, Jaxxon and the Star-Hoppers immediately began to open fire. Although drastically outnumbered, the group put up a strong fight, blasting the Cloud-Riders off their mounts. However, the intensity of the fighting eventually saw FE-9Q destroyed due to a sneak-attack from the ground. The same attack also saw Don-Wan Kihotay badly wounded, taking him out of the fight.

The Star-Hoppers continued to fight on, eventually eliminating those that were attempting to attack from the rear. Although they had come fully stocked with additional weaponry, Solo began to worry about running out of ammunition, as a renewed attack by the Cloud-Riders came upon the village. However, before the attack could come, the Star-Hoppers were surprised by a new factor. The Old One, who had been busy performing a ritual, even as the battle raged around him, had actually summoned his monster. The Behemoth from the World Below, a centuries old beast originally created by the Sith Lord Seviss Vaa, had been awoken by the ancient Aduban elder.

As the Star-Hoppers stood in awe of the gigantic beast, the Behemoth began to attack the Cloud-Riders. Using a lightning attack from its forehead, the beast had soon nearly wiped out all of Arrogantus' forces. The Cloud-Riders began to charge the Behemoth, trying to destroy it, but they were unable to stop the monster's rampage. As the Behemoth destroyed their opponents, the Star-Hoppers decided to lay low, letting the monster defeat their adversaries for them. Consequently, the Behemoth seemed to ignore the Star-Hoppers completely, and it appeared that the Cloud-Riders would be wiped out without another shot being fired. However, Arrogantus was able to spot the Old One, gesturing towards the Behemoth as though he was controlling its actions. Believing that taking out the Old One would stop the beast's rampage, Arrogantus charged the ancient man. Just as he was about to crash into him, both Arrogantus and the Old One were crushed by the Behemoth with a large stamp of its foot. With their leader dead, the rest of the Cloud-Riders quickly succumbed to the Behemoth's assault.

Since the Cloud-Riders had been destroyed, several of the Star-Hoppers proposed leaving the village. After all, they had only been hired to defend Onacra from the Cloud-Riders, not from a near-unbeatable beast. However, Solo claimed that there would be no reward if they didn't protect the village from being destroyed. With the Old One dead, the monster was likely to rampage through the village, and Solo demanded that the Star-Hoppers stay to defend the people. Jaxxon, who had tired of just sitting around, immediately jumped out from his hiding place and began to charge the monster, firing his blaster, though the Behemoth was too quick for the Lepi, nearly killing him with a deadly blast of lightning. Jaxxon avoided the deadly fire, but the aftershock of the blast caused a small landslide, knocking Jaxxon's weapon out of his hand. As the Lepi smuggler tried to retrieve his weapon, Foxtrain, who was concerned for his safety, yelled at him to get back to his hiding place. Jaxxon teased the woman about her sudden interest for his welfare, but decided to go for his blaster anyway. Jaxxon regained his weapon, but escaping was another matter. Foxtrain and Jaxxon returned to the other Star-Hoppers, but only after they had both sustained minor injuries from the rubble that the beast was creating with his laser blasts.

Back with the group, Solo suggested that they just lay low, and hopefully the beast would believe that he had killed them. Unfortunately for the Star-Hoppers, the Behemoth continued to fire shots near their location, and Jaxxon and the rest of the group were forced to run, both from the monster and the landslides he was creating with his attacks. As Solo began to formulate another plan, the Star-Hoppers were surprised to see Don-Wan Kihotay out from their hiding place. Wielding his lightsaber, the man had decided to face the Behemoth in single combat. Although the majority of the Star-Hoppers were unsure of how to respond, Hedji charged out to rescue the old man, but he was quickly killed by the Behemoth. As the remaining Star-Hoppers watched Don-Wan Kihotay attempt to attack the beast, Solo noticed that the old man's lightsaber was repelling the Behemoth's attack. Surmising that the lightsaber was the key to defeating the monster, Solo took the man's lightsaber and plunged it into the Behemoth. The monster began to spasm from the attack, thrashing wildly and firing its laser. In a burst of light, the creature disintegrated, ending its threat to the village. Victorious, the Star-Hoppers claimed their reward and returned to the spaceport in Tun Aduban.

JAXXON'S FURTHER ADVENTURES
« Reply #26 on: January 17, 2010, 08:32:40 AM »
With the funds he had earned from the Onacra villagers, Jaxxon was able to repair his ship. Having formed a good friendship with Foxtrain over the course of the Onacra battle, he decided to ask her to join him in his smuggling career. She had come to Aduba-3 to find a job after her pirating career had abruptly ended, and so she accepted Jaxxon's offer. The duo set up shop at Jaxxon's old residence on Nar Shaddaa, where they began to build up the Rabbit's Foot to prime condition for smuggling operations. Due to her skill at gambling, the two were quickly able to increase their meager funds into enough to modify their ship. The Rabbit's Foot was soon equipped with augmented shielding, advanced weaponry, and its previous mechanical problems were excised. Now with a capable ship, the duo's smuggling operation was able to begin.

During one of their nights on Nar Shaddaa, Jaxxon tried to convince Foxtrain to come with him for a night on the town. However, she refused the offer, claiming that high life on backwater worlds could quickly become lowlife. After promising to oversee the ship's refueling, she left Jaxxon to see the sights on his own. Immediately after Foxtrain had bid him farewell, Jaxxon began to stroll through the streets of the city, concentrating on how much he had grown to like the woman. However, as he walked under an overpass, he was suddenly draped in an electro-net. The shock of the device quickly knocked Jaxxon into unconsciousness, and he woke up to find himself hanging upside down amongst a group of bounty hunters led by Dafi and Fud. The group was working for Beilert Valance, and had overheard Don-Wan Kihotay mention Han Solo, Jaxxon, and "the kid" during an attack on Anglebay Station, where Kihotay was receiving treatment. Believing "the kid" to be Luke Skywalker rather than Jimm Doshun, the hunters had tracked down Jaxxon in order to discover the world where the Star-Hoppers had fought together. The hunters were under the impression that they would be able to find Skywalker on that planet, and Jaxxon happened to be the easiest member of the Star-Hoppers to find.

Attaching an agony inducer to his ear, Fud began to interrogate the Lepi, but Jaxxon refused to tell them anything. To force him to talk, Dafi activated the agony inducer, filling Jaxxon's body with pain. However, he still refused to tell them anything, merely cursing them for their lowlife tactics. The hunters decided to just continue the torture, until Jaxxon would give them the information; but before they could continue, they began to be cut down by blaster fire. Foxtrain had decided to come back to rejoin Jaxxon, and finding him at the mercy of the bounty hunters, she quickly dispatched the majority of them. As she approached her partner to untie him, she let slip that it was just like old times on Aduba-3. One of the hunters who had survived Foxtrain's assault overheard the information and fled back to Valance, telling him that "the kid" was on Aduba-3.

As a result of the interrogation, Jaxxon knew that Valance and his men would go to Aduba-3 to track down Doshun. Foxtrain and Jaxxon resolved to get there first and stop Valance from attacking their friends. Due to the superior speed of the Rabbit's Foot, the duo made their way to Aduba-3 well before their opponents, warning Doshun and his wife, Merri, that bounty hunters were coming to the world to capture him. Although Doshun was in disbelief over their story, he agreed to help them prepare for the hunters' attack, rallying the villagers in Onacra and preparing them for an outside assault. As the people of Onacra prepared themselves, Foxtrain and Jaxxon went back into space to prepare for Valance's arrival. When Valance's ship dropped out of hyperspace above the planet, Jaxxon opened fire, surprising the bounty hunters and damaging their vessel. Although Jaxxon was optimistic of their chances of defeating the crew in space, Foxtrain doubted that their much smaller craft would be able to destroy Valance's ship. True to her predictions, Valance and the hunters regained their composure and fired on the Rabbit's Foot with their blaster cannons. The metal plating on Jaxxon's ship was damaged, and he was forced to crash-land on the outskirts of the village.

After crashing their ship, Jaxxon and Foxtrain immediately departed the Rabbit's Foot and hid in the tall grasses nearby. Once Valance's crew had landed, Valance sent out a first squad commanded by Slzzk to search the crashed ship. When Slzzk's group was in range, Jaxxon and Foxtrain opened fire, pinning them between their attack and their downed ship. Although the group tried to mount a counter-attack, before they could advance on the duo, Doshun and the villagers incited a stampede of the local banthas. The large creatures trampled through the hunters' formations, killing nearly their entire force, save Slzzk and Valance. Foxtrain picked off Slzzk when he showed his head through the reeds, and Valance was quickly captured by the group when he tried to mount a similar attack. With the bounty hunter leader before them, Jaxxon quickly questioned the man as to what he wanted with Doshun. As Valance heard the name, he realized that he had come for the wrong boy. Laughing bitterly over the fruitless endeavor that had cost him his entire crew, Valance abruptly opened fire on the group with a blaster contained in his artificial left hand. However, quick reflexes saved Jaxxon and his comrades, and they were able to jump out of the way of the attack. Valance fled back to his ship, rocketing away from Aduba-3, intent on tracking down the real Skywalker this time. The group was quite confused as to the turn of events but were happy that the attack was over. Leaving Doshun with his people, Jaxxon and Foxtrain returned to their smuggling business.

PERSONALITY AND TRAITS:
Jaxxon was a quick-witted individual with a street smart personality and a quick temper. Tall and lanky, with a large pair of buck teeth and short green fur, he easily stood out in a crowd and was often the victim of stabbing insults for his peculiar appearance. However, Jaxxon always responded in kind to these rude responses, giving his attackers a strong kick in the chest or a blaster shot to the face. Jaxxon was not hesitant to speak his mind, constantly voicing his complaints during the operation on Aduba-3, much to Han Solo's irritation. Additionally, when he found himself attracted to Amaiza Foxtrain, he made no secret of his admiration for her, complimenting her even during the heat of battle with the Cloud-Riders. However, for all his bravado, Jaxxon was a calculating Lepi, and during the attack of Beilert Valance's hunters on Aduba-3, he was able to help Foxtrain carefully craft a plan of attack, defeating the soldiers despite being heavily outnumbered.

n regards to fighting technique, Jaxxon was known to fire two blasters simultaneously in each hand, although he was fully capable of using only one. When fighting on Aduba-3, Jaxxon was seen fighting with his fists and feet, as well as his weapons, showing his skill in hand-to-hand combat. Jaxxon also proved incredibly quick on the battlefield. He was the quickest of the Star-Hoppers, and during their battle with the Behemoth from the World Below, he was able to avoid being killed by the monster's laser attack several times, despite being in point blank range of its attack. Although his species was omnivorous, Jaxxon was inclined towards eating meat. He disliked space carrots and enjoyed a good steak over other foods. Although not overtly religious, Jaxxon was known to exclaim to the Holy Hutch several times over his career.

RELATIONSHIPS:
During his exploits with Amaiza Foxtrain, Jaxxon came to admire the woman, finding her very attractive for a being with no fur. Although she was initially hostile to Jaxxon's advances, during the attack of the Behemoth, she showed some concern for his well-being, causing the Lepi to remark that perhaps she did have some feelings for him after all. While not necessarily romantically linked, the two did strike up a partnership following the Aduba-3 affair, working together out of Jaxxon's residence on Nar Shaddaa. Although Foxtrain declined to go with Jaxxon for a night on the town, she eventually decided to meet up with him, saving him from several of Beilert Valance's men who were torturing him. The rescue was marked with Foxtrain's relief that Jaxxon had not been badly hurt, showing that she had some affection for her business partner.

Thanks L.E. much appreciated, I am pleased with him still need to do touch ups on him like I said and he is getting closer to completion, still want Hasbro to do one of these though.

I have another Lepi head upstairs I am thinking of doing an Engineer with. and I have to admit seeing I am using different paints now, it has come out a lot better (I am using P3 paints seeing we can't get easily in our neck of the woods Warhammer Paints).

And funny thing is I think I saw you last week with your son, but it didn't register until it was to late, last sunday morning leaving Walmart. And thats where I got the Space Kenobi from.
