Ok, in the planning stages of my next dio scene. The basic idea is the lightsaber duel between obi-wan and vader in the lava flow. Will just adding some info as it has been updated.
Well the process has started. Got the bottem cut out of foamcore. Cut and glued the floral foam onto the base. Ran out of time for the night. Next step will be to put the Easy Rock compound on to give it texture, let dry for a couple of days, then paint it. Next step will to to hot glue on the repulsor lift and panning droid. The final steps will be to cut out the sides from foamcore, glue on the background and hot glue onto the base. Already got the next dio on the back burner.
Ok, you wanted some pics here are few. First one is of the foam glued to the base. Second is the Easy Rock on the foam. The third is of obi wan on the repulsor lift. Hard to see any detail on the lava flow with it being white, it shows up better painted.
Tonight I hot glued to figures onto the base. The next step will be to cut out the backboards out of foam core and print out some background and glue them on.
