Legacy Collection Shaak Ti
« on: December 17, 2009, 08:14:23 AM »
This review of the new as of yet, unreleased, Shaak Ti Legacy collection was made by our own Incom.

A review? Well, I am quite impressed with Hasbro's effort. Nearly as good as the ones we made for the Summer Group Project 2008 at Yakface  Grin

Seriously, this is one fine lady. The sculpt is superb, and quite detailed. Her face looks very much like in the game. I love the way the lekku are positioned. They get in the way of head movement a bit, but you can easily pop off her head and reattach it in the desired position.

Paint apps are great as well, although the skin tone's a tad too dark for my taste. But that's personal.

The sculpted clothing is quite flexible too.

Articulation is up to par with what we may expect from today's figures: ball jointed head, shoulders, elbows, swivel wrists. Swivel waist, hips, ball jointed knees and feet. No ball jointed hips, but I don't think that's an issue. It'd probably ruin the sculpt anyway.

All in all this wonderful figure easily gets 9 out of 10., leaning towards a 10/10, though  Wink

WOW I'm really impressed with the head sculpt on this one. There is a lot of fine detail as well which really makes it stand out.  It's even better seeing a jedi in something other than brown bulky robes too...

Great review Incom!

Why go through life base fig, when you can customize?

A brilliant review, thanks for making it and also a big thanks to Hasbro for this figure.

I hope I can find one for an acceptable price.

This is one of the figs I have looked forward to the most out of the EU wave, to be honest there aren't any I am not looking forward to.

Updates Mon-Fri every week, also reviews and much much more.

Glad to be of service, guys. I see she's still available in plenty amount where I got her from. Check it out.

There's a Brit seller as well, who uses the same pic (albeit with a frame) and asks quite a bit more.

The price really isn't all that bad, I just have a hard time paying $14 for a loose figure.  Excellent review of this one Incom!

very very cool... I'm a little disapointed with the fact that it has only a swivel waist instead of the now very common ball jointed torso.... and I think I might try making this one super articulated if I get my hands on it...

as far as the figure itself, it looks realy good, I love the sculpt and the detail.  can't wait to see one in hand, Hopefully it won't be as disapointing as the new slave leia....

Really? Think so? I need to check, but iirc that Leia has the same butt as this Shaak Ti! At least she's wearing some pretty nifty undies, that's for sure!  fett
