That is awesome.  Do you repaint his whites?

I'm curious, because I have some troopers I'm going to be customizing, and would like to re-paint the white so it looks more like real glossy white, and not the hasbro cheap whites.  I like how the SideShow trooper whites look, probably the closest to real trooper white.

Cheers Mate and I do repaint my Troopers but I paint them so their armour is more dulled due to battle etc. The only Troopers I didn't repaint the armour was the Han Solo in Stormtrooper gear and the Space Trooper as Bandai did an amazing job on the gloss armour.

If you want the gloss armour look on the BS 6" Troopers try using a gloss spray and then paint the black areas.

Ron

Is it a spray paint you use, or straight up brushed on?  Also, what white paint do you use?  I might run out and get what you use, since it looks incredible.

Cheers mate, I use a paint brush and dry brush the white on and I use Vallejo's White #70.951

Hi All,

Here is some WIP pics of the new Trooper figure I wanted to and you guys know how much I love Trooper variations and I have been wanting to do the new Trooper from the I.M.P.S trailer over on there website.

I don't know the official name of this Trooper design but I really liked it especially with all the gear he has on him.

Recipe

The figure is Bandai's Stormtrooper built straight from the box, I used the pauldron from the Bandai Sandtrooper kit.

The pouches are from various Marvel figures and also a 1/35th scale pouch, I used some left over leather for the harness around the back of the waist. The left shoulder pad was made using some old rubber 1/6th belts which were cut to size and shape and the small.

The pouch on the chest is from a Marvel figure and the small white sections are plasti card which will be painted and there is a very small skull I trimmed off a 40K Cadian figure.

The garters are made from cloth and the straps are leather cut to length and width and the buckles are 1/35th scale German Jerry can caps.

I will be painting and weathering him over the next few days and will show pics once complete.

Ron

Hi All,

Here I is the completed I.M.P.S trooper, I painted and weathered him using Vallejo and GW paints and pastel chalks.

The base is from the Bandai trooper with plasti card edging and the ground work was built up using putty. I used real rocks, grass and dirt to cover the base and the small shrubs are from Army Painter.

Everytime I look at your figures and dioramas, it reminds me how much I still need to step up my game.  I hope I can make pieces as beautiful as yours one day!
