Hi All,

No to much of an update. I finished the chest section and have covered the joints on the legs and have started on the back of the armour.

I have also started adding plastic card and putty to the helmet so that I can shape it and then start adding the rest of the armour it the helmet.

If your wondering why I have only painted sections of him it because painting the areas I have sanded makes it easier to spot any cracks or uneven areas.

Hi All,

I did these two figures a little while back and finally got them on their bases.

They are both Bandai kits built straight out of the box and have stockings cut out to cover the joints.

The Sandtrooper base is balsa wood with a mix of spakfilla, PVA glue and sand mixed and added to the base and then it was painted using Vallejo's Iraqui Sand.

The Stormtrooper base is balsa wood with spakfilla used to cover the base then potty mix was used to cover the base. I then used model railway static grass and then gave it a few washes of Vallejo's Medium Green, I used plastic plants form JOEFIX STUDIOS and the ferns are 1:1 scale plastic ferns which I cut the tips off and gave them and the other plastic plants a a few washes of Vallejo's Dark Green.

The figures and equipment were painted and weathered using Vallejo paints and pastel chalks.

If ever I was to actually start collecting, this would be the type of work I would showcase! Such inspiring pieces all around. I always love seeing your dios/base work and the weathering that is always just right. Pure magic!
