Hi All,

Sorry I haven't been around much these last few weeks work has been just crazy butfinally it's slowly down to a nice pace.

This dio is one of three commissions I'm doing for Tamer, this WIP dio will depict a Snow Scout relaxing next to his speeder but always on alert.

The figure and speeder are Hasbro I decided to try and duplicate the speeder I made a while ago which is almost the same except the paint apps which is now %90 complete on painting the speeder I just need to add a little more weathering.

The paint on the bike looks cool so far and I like the survival pack on the back with the hose connecting to the engine I assume it acts as a heating element. Well done!

Cheers mate and yeah the pack is a heater and the pipe/tube will be connected into the scout to keep him warm.

I like were this is going. I was looking at my speeder bikes and cant figure out how to safely take off the sack looking thing behind the seat. How did you do it?

We are supposedly gonna get a foot of snow today, but I won't complain cause hurricanes are much more destructive. Stay safe bud!

Thanks mate and all I did was lift the up the bedroll with a small screwdriver then carefully cut the plastic that keeps it attached.

Hi All,

A bit more of a update, the scout has been attached to the speeder and base and is %85 complete. All I have to do know is complete the weathering on both the scout and speeder and then start on the base.

The soft goods application is just so seamless on this. I love the realistic pose too and hooking that hose up to his bike to stay warm just shows how well thought out this is.

Needless to say I am enjoying the build.

Oh Boy what a great Figure! i love the way he has the same features as the snowtroopers but still is clearly a Scout...only "winterized"
