Legacy collection Boba Fett!
« on: December 10, 2009, 07:41:50 AM »
Today i found the new Legacy collection Boba Fett! This is a superarty figure and it has an awesome paintjob. He comes with his standard blaster and a new sculpted pistol (i think) both of the weapons has a great paintjob. The blaster pistol fits perfectly on his mounted holster on his back. The droid parts that's includes with this figure is "the torso part" of R3-A2. I don't have any major complaints about this figure otherwise that i think he looks a bit to much like Jango Fett, i think its the removable helmet (wish I'm not a big fan over).

Otherwise its a great figure and it has the best articulation of all the Boba Fetts figure out in stores today! A must pick up if you don't have a Boba Fett in your collection, if you already have one... You cant go wrong with another Boba  ;)

Thank you for the review!  I've heard this was the best rendition of Boba yet!

Great review! I like the comparison shot with the three bobas. Yes, I agree that this is the best boba yet.

I like that this one is pretty readily available, is he the same as the evolutions one?

Great review, I have to admit though that I still like the VOTC sculpt the best. It's a little more detailed in the arms, the evo sculpt is a bit flatter in the gauntlets. That said I still want one cause I'm a sucker for removeable helmets. Now all we need to do is convince hasbro to make a Jango that is dark blue instead of purple.

awesome review!

my one gripe about this figure is the short backpack stem.  the backpack pops off of mine with the slightest bump!.  If you remember this problem plagued the VOTC Fett and seemed to be corrected on Tobi Dala... but not on my Legacy Fett.

I agree this is my favorite sculpt of boba yet.  The paint apps on this one is realy well done too, I actually think it is better than the Evolutions fett.

now... some disapointmets:
the backpack falls off easilly because of a short peg, as already mentioned

poorly sculpted helmet... it's too small and I would have loved to see a removable helmet with a rotating range finder (of course hasbro will never do that)

I also realy would have liked to see the holster for the pistol as a seperate hanging holster off his belt instead of being sculpted directly on the leg of the figure.

as for customs, this is the best boba yet.  It was extremely easy to pop appart and rebuild the figure's lower half with gi-joe parts.  The new ball jointed torsos they've been puting in the legacy figures lend themselves well to gi-joe parts...
