I hope you'll post some pics of the Mildenhall Airshow.
WW2 aircraft are really interesting. The Red Bull P-38 is my absolute favorite.
Unfortunately, the show was not entirely accident-free. Two paratroopers of the Austrian Army were injured (fractures in the legs).

I have to say, I do think the P-38 is my favorite WWII aircraft.  The F4U Corsair and the German Stuka are very close seconds, tho.

Great pics, FF - thanks for sharing!

Red Bull Stratos

He did it. Felix Baumgartner is the first man who broke the sound barrier (Mach 1) without vehicular power 65 years after the famous flight of Chuck Yeager in his X-1.
Baumgartner broke three world records:
*highest manned balloon flight (39000m)
*the highest altitude jump
*highest speed in free fall

Date: 14. October 2012
Location: Roswell, New Mexico (USA)

Congratulations Felix, it was a great moment.

Just a guess but I'm sure you are familiar with this site ? http://www.starwars-collectorbase.com/

We (my wife) and I have a friend over there and are quite aware of SW collecting in Austria.

Without the internet it would be almost impossible if not even more expensive than it already is.   Shocked

Michael doesn't seem short of money though. The amount and quality of SW items that arrive at our door that we send to him are phenomenal.

It's nice to enjoy them before they go..
