Favorite Mando
« on: December 02, 2009, 04:39:48 PM »
Simple question,

My favorite Mando is Ordo Skirata;   seems like a kindred spirit,  in the novels it was great character development,   a close second is Kal Skirata.

Thats the first time I have seen that helmet less pic of Ordo.

As for my favorite Mando I just can't pick yet.  I will think on it. Daggone good question though. I would love to see one decked out in cold environment beskargam, yeah I know I spelled that wrong, but I ain't a speller, lol.  Sometimes I can associate a lot with Dar. Sometimes I feel like I am the last to know something important and usually get hit over the head with it, but I deal with it and move on as life should if that makes any sense.

I think mine has to be Canderous Ordo.  He was so much more raw and aggressive than Jango ever was, and more accomplished than Boba was (at least in the films, that is!).

I agree.  My favorite is Ordo.  A second for me is Prudii.

my favorite was boba fett prior to the prequells, i understand that it really is george lucas' show but when he introduced boba as a clone of jango the magic went out of it for me.

Going over the whole lore of "mandos" (of course now trashed by Lucas), there are a lot of mandos I like.

1.Jango Fett
2.Venku Skirata
3.Walon Vau
4. Kal Skirata
5. Boba Fetta
6. Jaing Skirata

I'd have to say my favorite Mando would be Jaster Mereel because he took Jango as a son when his family was killed by the Death Watch.

I think my favorite Mando will be one like Iron Man. I want a Mando that has a different armor based on the differing combat environment he may get into.

I'm a little torn. I enjoy many but would have Mirta Gev at the top followed closely by Fenn Shysa, Mereel and Fi.

Even Ghez Hokan is a really cool, if very unlikable. Mandalorian. bbfet
So my biggest claim to fame is that my user name, Robimus, has appeared in the Star Wars Essential Atlas, lol.

Yeah, that is actually me, one of the 16 user names acknowledged by Dan Wallace and Jason Fry. I think I have a hand in both the placement of the Clacis Sector as well as Kalee :)

While Boba Fett is high on my list, him being a Mando was something we were unaware of until the EU. My favourite Mandalorian has to be Mandalore the Indomitable, a character featured in the TotJ comics. That was the first time we really saw what the Mandalorians were capable of.
