Fantastic weathering, When i do this it never looks natural ...
 I have not seen these at the local TRU yet....may have to go check tomorrow.

great job on the weathering.  I agree with you that sandtroopers shouldn't be shiney and new, they should look used and wore out.  I plan on weathering my vintage trooper and dewback rider (both the same exact figs btw) and making a more realistic set of sandtroopers.

Fiala....oh Fiala! Seriously you are turning out some seriously, seriously awesome customs, this set of sandtroopers are just superb. The weathering is absolutely spot on and you've got the colouration and application down to a fine art.

thank you so much for all your great comments gentlemen but plz note that only the squad leader is a custom. All the other figures are from the "Clone to Stormtrooper" evolution pack and they have already a perfect weathering.

spudafett: You are  right spud. A shiny Sandtrooper, that is a paradox in my opinion. I'm looking forward to see your set of custom Sandtroopers.

Christoph that is a great video! The figures are great the dio is awesome but what I really like is thw patch and extra ornamentation on either side of the name plate. Well done my friend!
