We here at the Shipyards have been granted a rare exclusive look at the new
Sandtrooper with Dewback. For now I will do a boxed review only and try to live up to the standards that Clonehead has established.
At first look, this offering is similar in style and diameter to the other regular battlepack offerings Hasbro is giving us with a removeable cardboard dio insert that is just big enough to house the Dewback and Sandtrooper.
This Wal-Mart Exclusive features a Dewback with removeable riding gear with an articulated head and legs and the Sandtrooper actually fits on the Dewback. At first look, the artwork is very sparse, but overall is great because it features the attention where it needs to be on the Sandtrooper and Dewback.
I can honestly say that this is one offering that is gonna fly off the shelves as I could easily see this becoming a popular diorama piece. I will try to take some time tomorrow to do a better "loose" review as one corner of the box itself is crushed and the momc collector in me is screaming at me right now so I will need some time to work up the nerve to crack the box, but I will do it for the Shipyards.
