Lookin' sharp so far Sarge. Love me some WIP shots, it's always cool to see how a custom finally came to be. Be mindful of the gold armour not turning out too shiny though. Hmm, I believe a have a White Dwarf magazine somewhere containing an article on painting gold armour or weapons...

That's not to hard to avoid, just top coat it with a matte or dull coat,

Started on another fig, I had this going a long time ago, but recently dug the pieces out and started on it, here is the first WIP along side of the inspiration pic of Bandon. It's got a ways to go but I know, I enjoy others  wip pics so I would share one of mine.

Lookin' sharp so far, Sarge. Looks to me like you've got the right parts combined for Bandon. Are those light coloured areas on his chest armour plates or just a fabric design?

That is a good looking start, Sarge. I will be looking forward to seeing it come along.

looking Good Sarge, a great looking likeness indeed cant wait to see what becomes of this... :D

A well-built sniper rifle is a beautiful thing. Ours has two zoom modes, "Up close and personal" and "Hello, you're dead

Here is another older item I did a while back,  This is a Koto Vader,  I thought the base was to plain so I built a small rise and inserted lights, small and easy but it did help the display of the piece.

oh cool, are those some of the fiber-optic LED's? like you see in the little christmas trees sometimes?

that'd be a cool way to light a vehicle if you needed multiple pinpoints of light......

They are Lenax or  Lemax,  whatever it is, they are minature christmas lights for the little villages, I bought tons on clearance one years for like 80cents a set, they run off 2 AA batteries, and come in habdy for alot of little projects.

Looks like your Bandon is gonna be sweet. And that lighted base is cooler than cool.
Fantastic work, Wayne.

Adding to my WIP items, I seem to have more things in process than time to complete anything, not to add to the list a small package arrived today from a caster, and an excellent one at that.   What he sent was a few casts of he unproduced Indiana Jones German Mechanic.   This will make it's way onto a Walon Vau in the near future.  He also tossed in a few skulls as a bonus. I am sure I will find a home for those as well.

They are pretty cool,  some of you will know his work,  They are from Ryan Shaw aka Bantha5,  He does some of the best scuplting and casting out there,  the stuff he can create is amazing, my Rocket Fett is also one of his.
