Oh yea, this looks great Jules! I agree with Zed, this vehicle looks perfect for a Moon or desert rover. Love the vehicle and the figures.

This is great.  i agree with wraithnine everything fits together perfectly .  Just curious was the movie's alien and prometheus  an inspiration for you ? Cause i see alot of the two combined here and it is done real well  .... All the best Art

Thanks everyone for your comments!

Mr.J you are along the right lines, the vehicle and figures for this set are influenced by the 70's Terran Trade Aithority scifi art and concept drawings for the Alien movie.

There is a ton of the Iron Grenaders stuff that works for SW.  The despoiler (Destro's ride) I think looks like some kind of personalized speeder (Could easily work for a Sith) and the APG looks like a space ship as well (some kind of fighter).

Ok, it's time for another custom vehicle... This time it's a Dune Spice Scout that I acquired off e-bay. It's a really unusual design which I really like. Not 100% sure what I'll do with it yet, I'll most likely transform it into a Movie Replica plus driver, alternatively it could double as a Tuskan Raider Transport.

Now that is an odd ball design that rivals the strangest Cobra or Joe vehicle. It will be intresting to see what you do with this. I am certain if anyone can pull this off it is you.

Holy worm sign, Batman!  That Dune vehicle is going to be awesome!  I've wanted to do a Dune-inspired custom for a while now.  Good luck!

I wouldn't change a thing! it's awesome as it is! Maybe some weathering on it though

Jules,

That old 'JOE vehicle on pg. 51 just goes to show that the designers at Hasbro in the 1980s were waaay ahead of their time. Most if not all of those vehicle designs still hold up to today's standards! Your paint job is just fantastic. I especially like the fact that you painted the inside of the wheels to make it look like it had some sort of "rims" on it.

Concerning the Dune vehicle; I'd have to agree with the others, as odd a shape as that I don't know if I'd do anything other than give it some weathering. I've never seen Dune. I remember hearing about it. Anybody know if it was any good?

The Dune scout vehicle looks interesting...not quite sure what I think of the design, but I'm sure that whatever you decide to use it for will make it far more interesting than the look now.  Interested to see where you decide to go with this...

I didn't even know they had made any Dune toys at all. Pretty cool Jules.
