no shoe throwing from me.  Great stuff.  I'll have to try that alchohol technique.  I'm working on my boba helmet and I think it'll work  well for it too.

well it's time to start a new vehicle custom and today i have started to do another Gunship repaint that i have been talking about doing for months now....

the first shot is the standard gunship LL ...


the next is after i have sprayed a white base coat so the paint applies a lot better then just painting straight onto the plastic


i have started painting one of the wings to what i think will look like when all is finished...i think this is going to take months do complete
i wanted to air brush the ship but i know it will take longer then just brushing it on, with all the masking and what not. this alone took
4 hours on and off to with looking after Chole and the father inlaw all day.


What do you guys think so far? i know its not much but its a start i guess...

That vehicle is fantastic!!! I have been on the edge of my seat waiting for that vehicle and it's already looking great!!

Are you gonna match up the colours closer to the kashyyyk troopers or keep them like the colours you have?

Can't wait to see this finished.

hey Lambonspit welcome to the yards again...

the flash doesn't really show it in these shots, but these color's are very close to the figures... but the dark Green i just went with because i liked it and i think it breaks it up a bit...

Very interesting CC. I like the colors and it looks good so far but I am wondering if the pattern should be just a bit smaller. Either way I can't wait to see more.

sorry doc if you liked that paint scheme but I'm afraid i scraped that idea and restarted a new one...... i hope you like this one better because i sure do!!
the reason i change my mind was, i felt like it look to cartoonie and opted for what i feel is a better choice for this gunship

Wow - that is MOST impressive!  If the blotches were rounder and overlapped, I'd say you'd stolen the pattern from some AUSCAM fatigues!

thanks Doc... send away mate... hah i didn't even relies that i have color match my own country's army cams lol
you got any idea for the pods in the wings? i have spayed them white for now do you think i should continue the camo effect or paint even colors around the whole thing?
