dude stenhunter your so right... you could so make it the left behind, exploded shell of that turbo tank...

man... I think the next challenge I'll issue will be a "make a dilapidated wrecked vehicle or relic"

Well I wouldn't want him to destroy his hundred dollar purchase, but it could be the turbo tank just before it gets blown up! =)

Why go through life base fig, when you can customize?

:-\  good point... sometimes I don't think when I type... lol

of course.. with the removable sections on that thing you could make a replacement cockpit section that is "battle damaged"........   :D

HOLY COW!!!  That's AWESOME work!!

Less green = active, muddy vehicle
more green = abandoned, immobile vehicle

I live in Dagobah, I know how this stuff looks.  ;)

This is coming alone nice! In fact I love it!! It's really looking like a vehicle that is in the middle of active service or has seen a lot of active service. Not some pristine off the showroom naboo security detail turbo tank. =)

man if these looked like this originally strait out of the box I'd be buying one right now...

dang that's awesome.  can't wait to see the rest finished.  That weathering job is amazing.

are you going to put any "mud splatter" up on the side of the tank?

lol pour a can of paint on the floor then run the tank through it realy realy fast and you'll get an all natural splatter ;) lol
(please don't do that... it'd ruin those awesome wheels!)

That looks incredible, Trev! More than worth
The sacrifice.  I can imagine a big swampy dio full of troopers for this showpiece to sit in.

Trevor, please don't enter that monstrosity in the latest contest. It's waaay too good, and I definitely won't stand a chance winning.
Incredible paint work. Very, very cool.

EDIT: Any chance of a video tutorial?

is it just me or does anyone else thing that this thing would look better if it went forward in reverse?.... like... backwards from the way it was designed?

Trevor

EDIT: Any chance of a video tutorial?

Sorry Barry i didn't do a tutorial mate  :-[ but if you have seen HB94 BMF tutorial on You-tube its pretty much the same as what i did, however i let my paint dry first the lightly went over the paint with a soaked paper towel and cotton wool balls and wiped it all in the same direction. i should have taken more photo's of how i was doing it but i was just too darn excited and just kept on going with it lol  ;D
