Just read the rules again and am wondering if the entry needs to be a new custom or can you enter something already made? That is the only unanswered question I can think of.

sprywalker I would prefer it be something you have not submitted to these boards already.

In other words, It would be best if you made a brand new custom for the contest... but if you have something that you have already been working on or have finished and have never shown anyone on these boards then that is fair game as well.

I would love to see a custom turbo tank!  your getting a little rich for my blood though!

Please bear in mind that the entries will be judged only on the vehicle and the customization of that vehicle, NOT how expensive the original vehicle was! lol.

Darth Aussie, have you tried to find a deal on e-bay for something that you could customize?  I you find something on e-bay that won't ship overseas I'll gladdly have it shipped to me and then ship it back to you.  I'd only ask that you pay the extra shipping cost.

Oh no I was not talking about the Turbo Tank, I was talking about the tank you  are working on. I hope to find some generic fodder and turn it into something cool. But I would love to have the tank that you have started on.

I have a few things in the works, but I do have an idea for this, I will try to get one banged out. I am not totally sure whether this will be a take off of an existing design of a new Creation. That's the fun part of these types of contests, open to imagination.

I've already started on my entry, and since there is plenty of time, I'm planning on it being  my most ambitious custom so far.

Don't get your hopes up too high, Taterman. My skills pale in comparison to most of you.
Try as I may, I can't compete, but God knows I'm gonna give it heck.
Sorry for the foul language, with the word heck, but it was to emphasize my point.

Kick @$$ r1bb1t!

I had a fresh, new idea last night, involving a hover-truck!  I saw a vehicle and thought "halftrack meets repulsorlift!"  Remains to be seen if I pull it off or not.

doc i've always wanted to do a hover truck, or speeder truck.

I used to stare at the boy's corps hummer and try to picture what I could do to it.... lol

How do I get in line to host a contest?  PLease add me to the queue.

I put a contest up on ST6 two months after signing up, so I'd like to do the same here.

Let me know.

As for now, I'm looking at all my imperial land vehicles, one of you guys is gonna get spray painted, lol.

Coordiante your contest requests with Clonehead, we try to have site hosted contests for prizes so just give either him or myself a heads up and we will let you know if we have something in the works.  We won't discourage you from hosting your own, we just will give you a heads up to what is planning.

OK guys, I dug this piece of junk out of my attic. I picked it up at a yard sale about 5 yrs. ago and just never came up with a decent idea for it. The lights and sound still work but I will be ditching them so there is room inside for a crew. Not sure how to turn this into a ground vehicle but I have a few ideas brewing. Any comments or ideas from you guys would be great. I'm off to take this thing apart...

I wish I had an old GI Joe Water Moccasin...

could see a suspension with a set of treads or wheels under that shuttle with some kind of gun mount on the top rear.
