Devin, that is pure awesome! The changes you made with the missles and the weathering are perfect. You just cant beat the effects real dirt gives and I love the look you have ended with. The outdoor pics are the iceing on the cake. Thanks for all the pics and I really like the Snake Armor mod you did displayed with this. That is one tough as nails group coming at the Joes! Now I have to add I could see you making a Joe/SW cross over speeder bike for the viper to make him a scout for the group.

I thought about making a crossover conceptual idea that this is an independant squad of "separatists" that remained independant even after the empire was formed....  now they are more of a mercenary/terrorist group for hire, reaking havoc on "the man" whoever that may be, republic, empire, rebels, etc...

and then of course they can still be the "real world" cobra terrorist organization as well.

Got me a big-AT-AT yesterday...

what should I do to it!?
 Highly weather it?
Paint it up in jungle weathering (IE: endor at-at)
or
leave this giant sob alone and not ruin it!?

sounds like another spudafett masterpiece

I was always a fan of the Endor AT-AT walker that was shown in the movie that's why I would like to see the jungle weathering walker together with some jungle
AT-AT pilots (ultra articulated of course  ;) ).

sad sad news....

my super articulated at-at crew don't fit in the at-at!!!  :(  I'm tempted to completely gut the walker and remodel the interior to be honest.  I just think there is ALOT of wasted space in there.
I've got alot of other projects to work on so this one may be on the backburner for a while until I get the nerve up to do anything to her.  It's a dificult task for me to validate tearing up a $100.00 toy...

Hasbro seems to have a problem with forgetting to measure fig's and cockpits on their vehicles - the Joe stuff suffers from this as well.

doc it's not that they don't measure... its that they don't remold anything.   The majority of the vehicles they currently sell are remolded from old vintage vehicles which fit the old Real American Hero and Valor VS Venom lines which actually measured 3.75" and not the 4" of the current 25th and newer lines...

Well that just stinks! Time to gut that bad boy then. I hear you on tearing up a 1oo dollar toy though.

Oh, I can understand it on the old, reissued stuff... but WHY does the pilot not fit right in the ROC Gunship?  Or Obi-Wan not fit in the Freeco speeder?  Seems to me I have routine, consistent problems with the new vehicles having pilots that just do not fit inside when closed up.

hmm... I didn't have any issues with the freeco speeder.  I remember having to wedge his feet in funky to make it work but it did work ok.

I agree, sometimes I don't think they have it together.  It's almost like seperate teams are working on the vehicles and the figures and not communicating...
I didn't know about the ROC gunship issue... I guess that confirms my initial instinct on passing that one by...
