You've got some awesome stuff as always here, devin! I love the Mountain Dewback, very cool idea. I was also looking back at your Freeco speeder, and saw how the red LEDs in the back are bleeding light into the body.... if you want to stop that, you can paint the inside of the body back there black, I've been watching a guy on Youtube who is lighting up the Falcon and does that. But, that's only if you even care, haha. Good stuff!

LOL... I thought the bleed through was a cool effect for the engines. If it were anythign else I'd probably paint the inside like suggested, but I thought since it was supposed to be an engine effect it looked pretty awesome glowing like it does.

I do find it odd that my freeco speeder's LED's are alot brighter than the at-rt.  I think I might have gotten the LED's mixed up and either used blue or UV lights for the headlights on the at-rt instead of my white ones. :(  the red one is bright and looks good it's just that the front lights are rather dim....  but it's not that big of a deal for me to take it apart and resolder all the conections to put in new LEDs!

thanks for the kind words everyone.  after looking closer at my pics I see alot of spots that the flash brought to my attention, alot of shoddy red/black transition spots that need to be touched up on both the figure and the walker.  That's what I get for staying up till 3 am trying to paint after working all day....

Just going by the pics, that's a really nice paint-job!  Very good "graphic match" between rider and bike - they almost look like two parts of the same whole.

B.A.D.A.S.S speeder
Biker Assault Desert Advanced Sand Scout speeder

The SandTrooper Scout is a Trooper which relies heavily on himself and his machine while on duty, and thus knows his machine inside and out.  You will not see two sand scout's speeders be modified or equiped the same, each trooper has the freedom to make any modifications he sees fit.
In this particular case the trooper has opted for modifying a civilian built swoop.  The vehicle was already designed for harsh climates and needed no special modification there.
This particular bike has an added set of handle bars which lead to added control surfaces and steering vanes which have been added to help control the bike at high speeds.
Also added to the bike are two water containers, several packs of suplies (food rations, and temporary shelter).  There is also a working holster for the rider's rifle.
The BADASS speeder is intended for speedy recon and not actual battle so it does not have many weapons.  It does however have two concussion grenade launchers on each side giving the rider some defensive capability.

This is freakin' sweet Spud! Great story that makes the whole thing work. I have always liked that speeder bike  and I really like your mods to it. The steering veins look better than the original. The Snow Trooper backpack looks just right and you know I love that soft goods holster for the riffle. The paint scheme and weathering really bring it all together. I really like the bike and trooper! He looks even better weathered. I can't tell you how much I like the addition of the scarf with that helmet! I looks like it is meant to be just for him.

The sand (B.A.D.A.S.S  :D) speeder bike is a great looking vehicle.
Awesome detailing and perfect weathering.
