I've seen this swoop rider before elsewhere...but he never gets old.  In fact, gets cooler every time I see him!

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Today I figured I should should show a few of the WIP pics I have sitting around. I have been thinking about a sand pirate crew and general denziens of the outskirts of Tatooine. I have swapped around many parts and now have almost settled on the figures below.

This is to be one of the richest and the leader of the crew. Not sure I will keep the Weequay head but it seems to be a nice change since they were always slaves/low life. Problem is the bare arms and they should be rather rough to be Weequay skin. Thoughts on him?

I see this next guy as a pilot and very intelegent. He is truely the brains of the group and is a great mechanic.

The saboteur and top henchman.

This power house of a bounty hunter.

Scout, tracker and sniper.

Then we have the youngster of the group. He is already a great pilot and mechanic but is learning skills from every member of the group. Who knows what is to come for him? I want to credit Chewie at Yakface for coming up with the head and torso combo along with a similar helmet. I used different legs, the Boba belt and bags and my helmet is the vintage B-Wing piloy hollowed out.

Last and least is this guy that just came together. Not for this group and not sure I will do anything with it. I may have to hold on to this body for a KOTOR custom and put that head and shoulder pad combo on something else.

Great ideas here!  I love the saboteur/henchman; the head you used on that one is vicious!

For the pirate leader, you could use the CW Embo arms (if you have them), though they're more reptilian than leathery.
Another possibility is the Pre-Cyborg Grievous arms; I think those would be more of the look of a Weequay.

Looking forward to your updates on these guys!

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Thanks guys, and yes, I credited Chewie in my post. The thig head as well as the pilot is from the Dragonball Z line. I agree about the scout, he is one of my faves too!

Jedi Merc, that head is from the Secret Saturdays line that hit clearance. Good ideas on the arm texture but they are too skinney and would also not fit in that torso.

I guess you're right.  I don't own the Pre-Cyborg Grievous and, after checking out some pics elsewhere, they are too thin.   Sorry!  Can't wait to see how this guy turns out!

Guys I was working on a few females along with the last group but was not happy with them. So I opend a few older figures and came up with these 2.

The last one I sculpted a skull for some shoulder protection. Finishing up the paint on her now.

Wow you've been busy.  A lot of great upcoming figures.  Can't wait to see the finished pirate crew.  Elias' pirate crew are my favorite figures in his collection.
