Thanks for all the great comments guys. Sorry I have been MIA but I have been on vacation for a few days. AS far as Red Eight, yes I too thought me looked a bit like Rob Schnider but he really looks like the guy in Green Mile. haha

Barry, no worries from me bro. Thanks!

Jay, thanks man, for all you do here.

Christoph, thanks buddy and I am stoked you are working on the stands.

This is a droid I have been interested in doing for the last few weeks.

This is a shot of a model for film reference. It is interesting that the dome is used with Red Leaders X-Wing. It could be used for Blue Squadron, the second group of X-Wings at Yavin or they could have randomly grabbed the first model in the line and set the dome on it. Who knows? If you do tell me. Any way I have been asked to document how these come together so I did that with this one.

20 min. for black on dome

25-30 min. for the blue

45 min for black on dome again and white details started

An interesting story, this figure washed up out of the Ocean at my feet as if to say "save me Luke Sprywalker you are my only hope." So I grabbed her and pulled a baby star fish off of her and put her in my pocket. It was love at first sight as I felt like it was ment to be so here she is helping hold the paint brush I use for all the details.

second coat of blue and white 30 min

Tried a purple lower dome light but didn't like it.

The light is now red, a few touch ups and a coat of gloss sealer brushed on. This is still a WIP as I have to do some silver details and I noticed a white stripe around the lower part of the dome.

Looks like your paint brush holder could use a coat of paint herself.  Her "shirt" has worn awful thin.   :)

A well-built sniper rifle is a beautiful thing. Ours has two zoom modes, "Up close and personal" and "Hello, you're dead

Thanks guys. I am finishing him up now with the white line around the dome and some silver details. May have some completed pics tonight. I kinda like him as is but am thinking about going a shade darker on the blue details. What do you guys think?

Freaking amazing! I love the cantina figures, what body did you use to make Chachi De Maal? I need to make her for my Cantina.

Thanks for any help.

Is this not Chachi De Maal, Ellorrs Madak (aka Ohwun De Maal)  wife in the cantina?

Ah, I forgot her name I guess. It is Ki Adi legs with Luke Skywalker torso and arms. I did some sculpting on the chest area. Thanks for digging this one up.

Way to keep an eye out Jay. I went and found him after seeing your post. Looks like I have 1 less pilot to make now.

Today I have for you the final pics in the evolution of my latest astromech. I have not given him a designation yet but will soon. Here he is...

Up next is a very drab all grey astromech you can see in the back of a Y-Wing.
