Man, that Twi'lek Mando is just plain awesome looking, Luke. Not only his outfit rocks, but the facial expression is all Mando. Colour scheme is your call, man, go wild, but maybe doing some research on Ryloth wouldn't hurt :D

Spry, I have seen a few Mandos as you well know. This one might just be my favorite and I really, really liked your Norris one. Awesome blend of parts that doesn't seem overpowering if that makes sense. I can't wait to see what paint scheme you go with.

I gotta be honest, I kind of like the colors he has already.  It give it that "culled together" look of a mercenary who has stolen pieces of armor along his career.  For whatever reason, those colors really look fitting, in my opinion.

I agree that, in a way, the cobbled version kinda works.  The only change I might make is to the bright red shin plates, either dulling them down or changing to a more muted color.  Otherwise, looking good!

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Thanks friends for all the kind words and suggestions!

Jedi Merc and Pat, I agree and am already planning for him to look like he has built up his armor over several years. I agree he looks cool now, but you know me, he willbe all black soon and I will build up the color on top of that.

Shawn, that is a huge compliment! Norris is my altime favorite Mando to date as well, that is why I went thru so many changes on this one. My new work has to come out as good or better than him.

Chewie! Thanks for poking your head in here and thanks for the compliment!

Remcoo, thanks my friend! I had 3 Zartan heads in my fodder bin and the idea hit, I need to sculpt some leku for a Mando!

Sorry for the lack of updates, my work schedule is killing me right now. I got 2 hours in the lab yesterday and was able to get a bit of painting done. First I painted everything black to give me a base to build up color.

Next I dry brushed silver on the armor.

Then I built up some color on his gear.

I also filled in the open back side of his holster with plastic figure bubble. Looks much better without the blaster sticking out the back when you holster it.

Wow L.E. this is really turning out so awesome. He could knock Tretch off the pinnacle of my favorite customs. I can't wait to get this on the fp today.

We missed you yesterday on the podcast. Its a busy time of year for you, but we definitely want to get you back on to talk customizing. Good stuff.

Cool paint apps on the Twi'lek Mando!  Feels like he needs an equally awesome swoop or speeder bike.
