Looking good there Spry. I don't know that Blue One is starting to edge out the Fisto one. Back on the front page.

Thanks guys! I am working on the astromech and a side kick that I didn't show in the WIP pics. I have also been working on some weaponry. I hate the soft plastic Hasbro uses for their weapons. In the first pic you can see their version at the top and the other two have been moded with styrene tube.

Now I have tried to match the paint and added a strap to one.

So I came home to this today...

Some of my favorite custom vehicles and figures came crashing down when the peg broke that holds the shelf on one side. Ewok mini battle wagon, Clone hover tank and all the crew, Hoth concept Tank, Norris Tretch and his swoop, Devarion and his swoop, more custom Mando's, OMG I don't want to look any more! but I have to see what is broke. The Ewok wagon is fine as are the critters inside, Clones lost some heads/neck nubs and their Tank lost both turrets. Hoth Tank lost the top turret. Lost a few side guns and greeblies off the swoops. Everything else made it thru the jump just fine! The big thing I am glad about is there was no paint loss from any of the vehicles! I think that is a testament to layering sealer on all of them and I suggest it to everyone from now on.

Sucks about the self man...I did think the Pirate/Smuggler character you made out of Kit Fisto looked great as is before you painted it but the blue one is a nice change of pace

Thanks guys. GS18 that vehicle is from the Tron line. I found it at discount for around $8 so I picked it up. Hope to do some mods on it one day. I hope to take some pics later today in my home made light box. I am also trying to learn how to set up my camera properly to get the best shots. I think the aperture was a bit high in my last shots so I plan to work on that. I have finished the astromech and a small critter that goes with him. Also started a new WIP from this cool dragon head I found at the thrift store, lots of sculpting on him and almost half way done with his paint.

I remember one earthquake we had.  I was afraid to look at my collection.  Yes, it was death and destruction.  Actually nothing broke but it was a clean up that allowed me to rearrange some things anyway.

You've been busy!  Looking at your WIPs, I hardly recognize any of the pieces.

Sorry to see your shelves fall a part.  Good luck fixing everything.

Is  that an Indy dio in 1 of the  pictures?  Could we see more of that?

Those rifle mods are stellar!!!!

Great work.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I have put all the broken pieces in a box to be worked on later. I am thinking I should get rid of that cabinet and put up wall shelves that will be more secure. The plastic brackets that hold the shelf are not that strong as I have had one break before a few years ago. That shelf held figures so nothing broke.

Thanks Greg! Almost every part for these customs came from your most generous donation! Here is a bit more for you. Oh yea the Indy diorama is one of Ron Hemblings and can be found at his site. I'll have to dig up the pics I took of it.

I have been doing a lot of sculpting this past week. Mostly on a commission figure that the customer does not want me to show any wip pics. They will be unveiled at his site when I send him the figure. It is not Star Wars but an original figure for a series he has created. I also sculpted an original character I have created for the Clone Wars Pirates series I am into right now. He is a rather odd creature but when I saw this dragon at the thrift store I thought his head could be perfect for a CW character.

Presenting Draggos Plundeen, a rather eccentric pirate and his side kick Specordae, also known as spec.

I also made an astromech from a junker that is missing it's panels. Not sure who he will belong to yet but he does go along with these pirates. Jay, any ideas on a designation?
