Very cool LE!!! I love the whole old west theme here. I grew up with the Lone Ranger and Tonto. Actually I think they were my first action figures as a kid. But anyways, your figures are coming along great. Are you gonna do a story/photonovlel with these guys? You need to come to Arizona and see some real old west cowboy towns like Tombstone.

Uhhhh...Awesome...I JUST FOUND THIS SAME BEAR...at a thrift store...snatched it up!  figured I would do something with it!  HAha!

What really got me in the mood to get these done is this bear I found at the thrift store. I repainted everything on him and I am very happy with how his mouth turned out. So here he is with my redesign of Spirit Iron Knife. New lower legs from the fodder bin and I sculpted the fringe to match the upper legs. Then gave him a repaint, he is still a WIP as I am not completely satisfied with him yet. I like the look but he still needs a few things I think.

Thanks guys! These figures from the wild west have been a challenge as far as finding the proper parts. So many of the Joe sculpts have huge pockets or an unknown piece of technology strapped to the leg. I lucked out and found some great fodder at TJ Maxx for cheap to get these parted out. No real plans for a story with these, I tend to just have whims to want to make odd things some times. I would love to travel to your neck of the desert Tom, our home is decorated in a south western style and we have collected some pottery and Indian weaponry and trinkets. My wife has several of the Indian Dolls in spots. Back to the customs, there was a stage coach and small diorama at TRU in December that would have been perfect for these guys. I just simply don't have room for anything like that. I need to put up 3 more shelves so I can display more of my custom vehicles and figures that I have.

Thanks BOTW! I like that effect for these guys too.

Pack Rat, that is awesome! Don't you just love thrift stores? and what is it with kids, or is it their parents, getting rid of so many great toys? Oh well, our gain!

Thanks Tamer! Also thanks for the merge! ;)

Love this theme and it's development so far.  I had a concentration in Native American Studies in college so these are right up my alley.

Hello everyone! Today I am checking in to let you know I have broken my new years resolution. Why do we make these resolutions anyway? The good news is I broke my no starting new WIP's resolution to start a commissioned figure. It involves a good bit of sculpting and I like to sculpt multiple things in one session so I worked on the Leku that will be under this helmet I made a while back.

Then I added some details to the armor of this Clone.

and this picture is for Zed Hatch, my Robo Cop in 1/18 scale

I was lucky enough to be the recipiant of a huge fodder donation from forum member Gwest! He is a great guy who needed to downsize his collection and wanted to donate whathe wasn't keeping to me for my custom work. Let me tell you it was a boat load of figures and parts! My son and I were blown away going thru the 2 boxes he sent! We sorted everything out and covered the floor in figures and spare parts, etc. The following Saturday evening we had a boil and pop kit bashing fest with all the Clone Wars figures along with a few bits we had. Below are the results...more WIP's!

Back in a bit with individual shots...

Super cool score.  Love these WIP pics.  Like everyone else, I can't wait to see these pieces when they are all done.
