These are excellent and look great!! I would not have guessed that was an avatar body, looking at the painted figures, but it worked perfectlly for the warriors. The paint apps are great. Well done.

Thanks again for the comments guys!

Tom and Yak face, thanks for letting me know the first round of weaponry didn't cut it. It pushed me to create these new weapons that I really think fits the bill.

Ron, what can I say, I am just trying to get closer to your level every day. Everyone here inspires me with their creativity but I am really trying to get closer to your and Dayton's painting style.

All that being said, I need to create one or two more of these guys. I have given up my Avatar collection other than 4 figures to make these. Does anyone have a Avatar figure they would feel compelled to donate for the cause? or we could work a trade? Help bring chapter 3 to life...Ship Yarders, you are my only hope!

Ollies has Avatar figures for about three bucks a piece. If I get back in there I will see if they still have them.

Thanks Shawn,my store dried up on Avatar figures right before Christmas. The first figure I posted of the Hijhti uses one of the Avatar human heads as well as the alien body.

This Apocalypse story is quite interesting. It was a great place to start, because everything is new and different. 2 million years is a long time so nothing is the same. Can't wait for chapter three.

Sorry it has been a while since I have posted anything in this section. I have been and still am on a mission to finish up many WIPs and several of them are Joe customs that have been on my bench almost 10 months. First up, and you may want to go back a page to refresh, I have another member of the resistance based in Stone Mountain GA and friend of Road Dog and Harley, Wry One. This is based on art from Wry One and you can see his work at Deviant Art if interested. I thought this character had a lot of appeal and I wondered if I could pull off his tattoos and that pacifier necklace. I still need to assemble his weapons so I may be back with a final photograph of him.

The next project that has been on my bench for way too long is my Cowboys and Indians customs. The main problem with these is having the right fodder as so many joes have knee pads and army style pouches sculpted to them. So I don't even have the fodder to complete all of these guys and is anyone is willing to trade some fodder they think will work for me I would be delighted.

What really got me in the mood to get these done is this bear I found at the thrift store. I repainted everything on him and I am very happy with how his mouth turned out. So here he is with my redesign of Spirit Iron Knife. New lower legs from the fodder bin and I sculpted the fringe to match the upper legs. Then gave him a repaint, he is still a WIP as I am not completely satisfied with him yet. I like the look but he still needs a few things I think.

Thanks friends! I have made a new years resolution to finish all the WIP's covering my desk and in ziplock bags before I start a new project. So I ave been doing just that, Please check out the updates in my Diorama thread and some GI Joe customs in my "Other customs, scratch builds, etc" thread. I do have a few SW figures that I will get to along with at least 1 more Hijhti figure for Apocalypse. I got my cast parts order from Clint and started on a weapon right away. It will be a vibro blade with a long handle and here is a WIP shot.

Hope to have more soon!
