The Dark Palace
« on: February 05, 2023, 10:05:55 AM »

The Dark Palace is a new build that I'm adding to War logic http://warlogic.ca diorama sets. The full complex will include the fort, weapons' factory, and waste/mines fields. Since WarLogic is an integrated gaming system, it needs all sorts of complex dioramas to make use of different elevation, obstacle, command and control, line of sight, and found treasure rules.

The Dark Palace is a mix of Science Fantasy, MOTU, WH40K, Egyptian, Sorcery, and a lot of darkness. As usual the main ingredients are junk, thrift stores, and dollar stores provisions.
I'm adding castle grey skull to the complex but it needs some black oil wash to get it to the same tone of the tower at the top.

Wow, are those Warhammer 40k Marines the ones in 1/18 scale from JoyToy? Fantasti setup! I love all the mesh of various ages and cultures!

This is an ambitious project! It looks great so far...very creative. That's also a big investment in Space Marines! They look great at the castle.

Wow this is great. I have been reading a novel series called the forgotten ruins. It reminds me a lot of this. Modern military gets sucked into the future which is now a fantasy apocalypse sort of scenario. This would fit it spot on.

Off to the front pages.
