What? No primer?!? Fett ought to hire you to do his paint jobs...I bet he'd pay well. Don't think I've seen a "barn fresh" hotrod, just demolition derby vehicles.

I didn't even use primer. I actually broke the cardinal rule. I mixed enamel with acrylic. Im so used to using tamiya enamel that I forgot I had switched to liquitex acrylic so I can use it on foam. Anyway it ended up giving it a cool weathered texture. Almost like orange peel, but 2 different shades, kind of like the sandcrawler. I like it. It wasn't what I was looking for, but it works.

Thank you! I've been working on a non Star Wars hobby since October. It's been taking my money time brainpower and patience with limited success. I was building a self sustained Riparium (aquarium with terrestrial plants) ecosystem with biodiversity from the microscopic level. I had it perfect, then my filter gave out and the whole system crashed. I need a break.
I finally ordered a hot wire foam cutting table. I'll really start working on this spaceport project.

That sounds involved. I get needing to step back from something a bit. I get over-involved sometimes on things too. Glad you are back though!

I always have a way of overcomplicating things. What started as a regular fishtank turned into a science project.  Plants are doing great at least.

I got my praxxon thermo cutting table  Proxxon Thermocut 115/E Auto-CAD Hot Wire Cutter with Large Table - Accessory for Thermocut Fence TA 300 - 37080 https://a.co/d/0SuX2ji   , for cutting foam board. It's pretty snazzy. I need to rewatch the tutorials how to use it effectively. I also ordered a circle making jig on etsy. I'm going to build a hangar for the N1.
