Talonreap's Imperial Forces

(1/2) > >>

talonreap:
As I work on other diorama's and take photos throughout this week, I thought I would share my Imperial Forces! Rogue One and the accompanying toy line really jump-started my interest in the OT era - before, I was more or less a Clone Wars and clone collector.

Anyway, this collection has taken shape over the last year and I'm pretty proud of it! The backgrounds are templates from the Diorama Workshop (which I love!) and I think make for a decent layout.

Here we have Vader at the preparing for inspection...

Ranks of stormtroopers here. I know not everyone is a fan, but I absolutely love the RO stormie sculpt and hope to add yet more to my collection someday!

Here are the drivers, pilots, and technicians that work in and around the Empire's war machines.

Here I have grouped the specialist troopers. I snagged the two TBS Sandtroopers off of Walmart.com during a recent sale and really love them! I'm aiming to pick up a dewback at some point to really fill out their ranks.

Lastly, I've got the new probe droid and a few AT-ST's. The new TBS walker was on sale at Ross, and the POTF walker actually belonged to my dad back in the day!

...and here's one last pic to tie it all together. My apologies for the glare in the last two pictures, I had everything set up underneath a window and my phone camera had trouble with it.

Thanks for looking, and I'm glad to join the ranks of Empire collectors on this site and elsewhere!

Tamer:
Very nice.

Jodo:
Careful, once you start army building you'll never stop!!!  :P

JDeck:
Yes. Yes to Jodo you listen.
Once you start down the dark path consume you it will. Just like it did obi wans apprentice.
Lol. Its looking awesome.

Darth More:
I agree with Tamer, Jodo and JD: That's a very nice display of your Imperial Forces! And it's true, armybuilding will make your collection grow constantly...the TBS AT-ST is a really great vehicle. Actually the paint apps make the Walker look like the AT-ST seen in Rogue One! But it's actually meant to be the Endor version based on the packaging's background...you got a very nice Imperial army and the Death Star walls look awesome, too! Thanks for sharing it with us! I'm always happy to see Imperial collections!
