Topic: Republic Commando and Imperial pilots Evolutions

I just bought these two new evolution packs. The pilots pack is about the same as the first release. The  clone LAAT pilot has a cool helmet, the EP. 3 clone pilot is in a black jump suit like black variant of the ROTS pilot, the TIE pilot is a clone and not that darklighter figure and has the TIE pilot helmet from the Baron Von whats -his-name Comic pack.

Any pics? And what do you think of the new Republic Commando? Is he really superarty?

The Arc trooper is the Alpha  comic figure only red, the republic commando is the same body as the other RCs only repainted, the storm commando is kinda cool its a variant of a shadow scout. I think i did this right. There's an album at photobucket : maunster_2009. The pics are not the best, I have an old crappy camera.

I am so ticked the new RC is not superarty. That bites. Boy do I like the look of the gunship pilot and the storm commando though!

Anyone else get thier hands on this loose and can you confirm that it is not super articulated? Did you open this Maunster?

I haven't opened it yet. I'm supposed to be getting another one in the next few days. Upon closer examination I think his legs might be super articulated.  Compared to the other RCs the foot looks turned and there is a separation between the  knee pad and the upper leg  armor.

Hey, I'm still hopeful... it *is* an Evo pack, after all, and Hasbro seems to be a little more...interested in quality on them.  Eh, we'll see when Maunster or I get one opened.  I *might* be thru a TRU & Target tomorrow and if so, I'll own one if I see one.

That's good to hear,  Didn't they get Fis armor color wrong, I thought Omega went flat black?

i'm going to HAVE to get that evo commando pack.  LOVE those.  I've got the exclusive shadow scout and bike...  but I've been wanting to do my own custom shadow speeder and that scout from that pack is def. going to be it's rider.

Hey Maunster, where did you score that imperial pilots pack? I didnt see them in the blue ridge store on Fri.

That rc has the same arms, head, upper and lower torso as the old one but the legs and feet are different sculpts and quite super arty. The shoulder/arm joints only swing forward and back like the old one.
