Here's a variant of the SpecForce Commando created for a fan film project:

Wow, great costumes both. I can't pick a favorite. Course I love the armored stuff. Great color scheme on that Mando too. Off to share.

It's so great you're back on here Kurgan! I really like your costumes, too! They look great on you!
The Rogue One Rebel SpecForce Commando costume looks excellent! I think Star Wars costumes in  camouflage are pretty tricky, the Rebel Commandos in particular - it's not easy to make them look like a costume of the SW universe instead of a regular soldier costume.
You made your costume look very authentic with all these accessories - especially the helmet, vest, belt, the backpack and boots! Very cool!

The Mandalorian armour in red-black looks fantastic as well! I love it - the helmet is spot on!

By the way: When I opened the frontpage this morning I was like: "Wow, this is the MOST realistic action figure I've ever seen - must be HotToys!  :o Then I read you switched to 1:1 scale and became an action figure yourself ;)

Best regards from Dresden!

Thanks for the praise, y'all.
If there's one think I have learned while building these costumes, it's that you can paint a lot in a comic, you can design anything on a computer and you can do a lot on an action figure, doing it 1:1 is a whole different ball game.

Also: when shooting a movie you can yell "CUT" all the time, re-glue something or put on a spare costume, but when you are walking around in your fan-made costume the whole day, there's no film crew blowing fresh air into your helmet or a friendly crew girl hot-glueing something together or re-paint it while you're taking a break.
You take your costume out to a convention or chsrity event - it better stays together untill the day is over.

I got a Shadow Stormtrooper armour that I still need to restore and improve...I think you gained much experience with your costumes and found the right words to perfectly sum it up!
By the way: The movie/fan shooting you mentioned - can we watch it somewhere like on YouTube?

Both costumes are amazing.
I like the mix of accessories on the Rebel Commando custome.
