Is a hundred bucks for ten Sandtroopers a good deal?
« on: November 21, 2016, 07:42:41 PM »
I recently bought ten vintage series Sandtroopers, all without weapons and equipment, for around a hundred dollars.  They are fully articulated, and even have ball-jointed hips.  Was that a good deal, or not?

Its hard to say, without looking at them, but I  assume without the equipment they are basically stormtroopers, if they are the "clean" version. Stormtroopers are going for about $15 each on the low side, so 10 would be at least $150. If your looking to restore them as sandtroopers, it may be hard to find the individual parts. You could get a bunch of POTF2/POTJ sandtroopers, the backpacks are interchangeable, and the pauldrons would just need a bigger neck hole.

I don't think so if they are in good shape and are fully articulated. I think those figures are just gonna go up and up as they get rid of arty in figures.
