Hasbro has announced to re-released the previous TVC figures

Admiral Ackbar
Emperor's Royal Guard
General Lando
Ahsoka Tano

under the Black Series line.

This should be a realistic chance to pick up figures you've missed back then.

I think this is a smart move by Hsbro, although distribution exclusively through WalMart isn't...

Good news, thanks for sharing. So many other good characters to get out there too. Like the Gamorrean Guard which is one I can think of off the top of my head.

In a way I'm happy they are releasing some of the hard to find TVC figures. Royal guard, Akbar, general Lando, are all expensive on eBay. However, being an exclusive is kinda lame, an exclusive repack. Meybe they'll do hoth rebel trooper too. He's hard to get. I take it they won't make any more TFA exclusives. They could have made some cool figures like Ithano. Bram Stoker's Dracula Leia was an odd one to make.

They could easily re-release the Republic Trooper, Shae Vizla, the Gamorrean Guard, the Hoth Rebel Trooper and the Endor Rebel Commando.
This, mixed with some new figures would easily sustain the Black Series for the next two years.

All they would have to do is take stock of the existing tools and with those parts they could kitbash a bazillion new, innovative figures, heroes, aliens and army builders.
Figures would fly off the shelves and collectors and customizers would buy multiples all the time.
Hasbro, give me the job and I'll do it for you.

One of our questions to Hasbro for this coming Comic Con is gonna be how does Wal-Mart Select the figures for their exclusive line?
