JURASSIC PARK

$14.99

Found a Dreadnoughtus a few aisles further.

Well, the so called Collector‘s spot was a pretty mess for being aimed at adult collectors.
Well done kids!*

*I guess some adults behave worse than children. The toys section was nice and tidy.

Well...you're seeing stuff in stores (stuff I don't have in my own Targets). I hope you are having a good time seeing the amazing landscape of Colorado, and other sights as well.

I captured as much as I could in the short time I had. Felt a little like super toy club from back in the days.

I picked up one of the dozen TVC Paz Vizla for $27.99.
With the 8.2% sales tax of Colorado, it was $30.29 at checkout. Those don’t move a bit for reasons! So I’m sure they will be on clearance soon. 28€ is hard to justify for me. But I wanted to support the line here as well and Paz is a nice memory of this amazing journey. Thanks for commenting, Jeff!

The biggest luck was yet to come yesterday!

(The) Hero Headquarters Collectibles

8757 Sheridan Boulevard,
Westminster, CO 80003

It was a crazy coincidence that this stores was just in front of my Motel room’s door!
They close at 6 pm and we checked in at 5:38. It was 5:43 pm until I reached our room, so I ran there like a maniac.

When I arrived there, I had (yet again) 8 minutes to capture it all.
The right half of the store is Comics only.
The left half is Action toys from all eras!

Sit down and enjoy! Or in other words "hold on to your butts!"

VINTAGE STAR WARS

HASBRO STAR WARS

* I HAVE TO POST THIS AS A LITTLE TEASE.
Gotta leave any minute so I won’t have wifi anymore. My flight is tonight and with 10 hours and 8 hours forward shift in time zones . I’ll arrive and post the rest tomorrow.

It’s a fantastic store! Here’s more:

$2,999.99 for the U.S.S. FLAGG

$449 for the HasLab Skystriker in case you missed it.

Man, that Flagg would be awesome. Nice store.

I just updated the gallery above with all pictures in higher resolution. You can now enlarge them or zoom in to see the prices and other details better.

Here's a wall that I hadn't added completely, yet:

And here's what I got from Hero Headquarters. I'm sure I would've found more to buy, if I had more time.
Piett was a little pricey, but I wanted to support this amazing store. Plus the card and bubble are damaged, so this unit was perfect for me to open!

Not sure about opening the OTC figure though. What do you think? It survived almost 20 years. I remember getting OTC Lobot for $4.99 at an outlet store back in 2005. I might try to get it loose and keep the carded one on card.

I thank I remember getting a Madine, but don't know what I did with it.

Nice finds.

Thanks Shawn! I wasn't sure if I had Madine loose. So I thought I can't do much wrong with 10 bucks for a figure that's 20 years old by now! Where has the time gone?
It turned out it was the right decision to take it. But now I'm on the fence if I should really open it when it already survived 2 decades. I'm looking forward to the next convention and will take a short list of figures I'm looking for loose. I really want to get back to diorama building!

So Hero Headquarters closed shortly after I left. But next door was arc Thrift Stores, which were open 'til 9 pm. I had never been to a thrift store before and just had to check it out.

Dan is so lucky and finds such awesome stuff! Make sure to check out his finds as well.
I've seen many YouTubers sharing their finds and also my sisters got lucky with some coats at Goodwill.
We stopped at a Goodwill in Durango, CO but there was nothing worth taking pictures of.

Both stores were very busy! The mall next door was pretty empty in contrast.

arc Thrift Stores

Never saw this set before. It was just $3.

It was nice to find some Star Wars stuff here, but I left the store empty handed.
If I lived in Denver I'd check out the thrift stores in the area on a regular basis.

Thrift stores can be some great places to regularly check. Dan has gotten some awesome deals over the years.
