I did a little more work tonight and threw in a few older Hoth Rebels.  Now if I only had a bunch of extra, old Snowtroopers to give him.

Thanks for the feedback, guys!  After I finish with this one, I'm hoping to finish the trash compactor and then I'm hoping to start on the crashed X-wing Jedha scene.

WOW. Always impressed when in see people really go for large displays. Wish I had the space, but all my stuff ends of stored for 99% of the time.

Looks really nice. Keep up the good work cannot wait to see more.

Well, this turned out successful.  My Nephew absolutely LOVED this thing.  We ended up reenacting the Battle of Hoth for about an hour.  I have to say, seeing that walking AT ACT tromping on its own on this thing was REALLY cool.

I've got some big things planned if I can get the money together.  (Though, after that Barge money goes bye-bye, that could be a while.)  I'm still figuring out how I can do the trash compactor with "water" and garbage but maintain the moveable walls.

I want to invest in some more of those Spacewalls and build a multi-level Death Star set up along one of the pegboard walls to add with the Emperor's arrival set up.  At some point, a buddy with a 3D printer is going to help me make the proper walls and light columns for the DSII Hangar bay.

Lots in planning, I just hope I'll be able to get to it all.

I'm currently working on a backdrop for my Hoth diorama.  It's always bugged me having just the pegboard behind the thing, so I'm doing a sort of dual layered effect with this.  This is just what I managed tonight.  I still want to go over and clean some stuff up and make it look more natural, but for 2 hour's work, this isn't bad.  I picked up this clear plastic sheeting and this is going to be the bottom layer.  the next will include a bit more foreground detail and some hazing to try and hopefully make it look less like a painting.  This is literally my first time painting anything like this, so I'm kind of nervous how it will turn out.  We'll see how how it ends up soon, I guess!
