Also put some finishing touches on the duel.  At some point, I might go back and attempt lighting effects, but for now, I think it looks pretty good.

Nice work! Very dynamic poses for the duelists! I look forward to seeing your trash compactor! That is certainly one of many dioramas I still have planned in my head. I am looking forward to seeing how you are going to tackle the 'water'. I was going to use one inch soft cushion foam and use an xcato blade to make cuts in it for the figures to put their legs in to give the illusion they are knee deep. If you have not come up with something, feel free to use that idea. I don't know if that would work outside of my head but feel free. Again, nice job!

The Ren and Rey dio looks excellent mate has a lot of action going on and the base adds to the realism.

I'm really look forward to seeing how the trash computer dio turns out.

Thank you guys.  This feedback has helped me through a VERY rough day.

As for the Trash Compactor, I had a couple ideas.  Like using saran wrap with holes punched in it and "garbage" piled on top where I could put the legs through.  I considered just making it non-adjustable and have the walls in a stationary position, but I kind of like that I can move them in and have them threaten to flatten the quartet.  I think we the clear plastic I could probably achieve the watery look and still have it be adjustable.

Got it painted this weekend.  This week I intend to put in some garbage and work on the door.  Really love how the grime turned out!

This is turning out really well. I agree with you about the "grime" - it certainly doesn't look clean. I'm enjoying the work in progress reports.

This work in progress looks very promising! You created a very authentic and high quality model of this epic scene! Your circular saw is certainly a big advantage and the paint looks excellent!
I like it a lot!

When I was a kid, I would watch those toy commercials where these kids got to play in these scaled, cool environments and I always wanted that.  Well, I have a nephew now who's a massive Star Wars fan and experience in diorama building...so this is his Xmas gift.

The Trash compactor is coming along great and that is one lucky nephew to have a uncle like you mate. Keep up the excellent work and look forward to seeing more.
